Safari Tent Set Next To A Historic Steam Railway

Our tents have an open plan layout with plush furnishings including a king size bed, wood burning stove, which doubles up as an oven, and a sofa bed. The internal space measures 4 x 5.4 metres and is erected on raised wooden platforms which insulate the tents from the ground. To the front of the tent is the veranda with a barbeque, gas hob, fridge, ice tray and food preparation area. The outdoor seating is perfect for al fresco dining (the washing up area is also close by). Plates etc provided.

Turn up, settle in and relax, 'Paddy' is one of 3 bell tents well spaced in a natural grass paddock. You have access to a fantastic restored barn complete with a kitchen, sofas, tables, chairs, games, table tennis, etc and even a cosy wood burner to snuggle round if it is wet and cold. There are brilliant walks straight out of our gateway. Greenfields is a wonderful place to explore the New Forest from and a really great spot to sit round a firepit with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Quirky converted ambulance.

Camby, our beloved converted ambulance is static on our drive with electric hook-up, heating, EV charging and WiFi available. Great for an overnight stay, or if you are working at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre which is a 20 minute walk from us. Basic, but a bit quirky and if you like staying in unusual places this is perfect. The local train station is a 15 minute walk away. Driveway parking is free. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. The beautiful 6 meter Bedouin Bell tent accommodates 2 adults ONLY in a double & up to 4 children on pull out z beds. Everything you need for self catering stay is included, towels, bedding, cooking eating & washing up equipment, log burning stove & cool box private facilities right next door with hot shower & flushing loo. Bijou, comfortable single room garden cabin ( 1 superking bed or twins ) with kitchenette, excellent WiFi,TV and adjoining ensuite shower and WC, set in the middle of an SSSI within the South Downs National Park and accessed by an unmade bumpy track. Please note this is not a village location though pubs are about a 5 minute drive ( walkable with good footwear and a map ! ) A car or bicycles are favourable although we have accommodated hikers overnight.
