Shepherds hut vacation rentals in United Kingdom

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

we had a superb getaway, ideal for timeout and a recharge. everything was as described and the mattress was so comfortable. is now on our favourites lists to return back to.

Such a lovely stay! All you need was there! Private and secluded, overlooked some fields of horses/alpacas and pigs. Even had some friendly visitors of the chickens and kitty! Was so comfy laid in bed with the projector tv with the log fire burning! After an evening of being in the hot tub! Had a tour of the farm and met all the animals, hosts were so friendly and welcoming! Such lovely food nearby and delivery if needed. Likewise only a short drive into Leicestershire city centre for lots more to do! Highly recommend!!!

2nd visit and absolutely living up to my memories. Weather was a little more inclement this time round - blew a gale and some very picturesque horizontal rain... but it was still cozy and so amazingly photogenic location. Lemon drizzle cake was a very welcome tea time treat throughout our stay. But it's the absolute spotless presentation that makes you feel right at home. We did miss seeing the cat this time round, hope it's OK :)

Peaceful and quiet location with sheep and alpaca in the neighbouring fields. Sitting outside the shepherds hut we could see the sea in the distance - same view from the hot tub. Very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed for our short break.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities provided made the stay feel just like home. Our host was fantastic—very responsive, kind, and helpful with local recommendations. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, a truly enjoyable stay. Rosie’s Retreat was absolute heaven. Quiet and private but close to Bude, pubs and beaches, the hut made for the perfect getaway. The view out over the valley was gorgeous, even in the rain sitting inside with the doors open was a delight. Lucy’s instructions were easy to follow and clear, important to get you out to the hut along a small country lane. It was clean and every detail was thought of. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing hideaway.

We were so looking forward to getting to the cabin, but due to personal reasons we had to cancel. Despite the very short notice, Frank was kind and considerate. Overall Frank answered all our questions with kindness, found us a driver to assist us, and showed great willingness to make our stay perfect. Thank you so much Frank!

Fiona and Nigel created a beautiful space to stay for anyone who wants a peaceful getaway! I proposed to my now fiancé here and Fiona helped to give this place a romantic setup while we were out for food. She did a brilliant job! Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back again!

Susi has created something really special and magical in the hut in the wild. A beautiful setting, peaceful surroundings and everything provided, including toiletries and food! A lot of thought has gone in to every detail to make a stay here a relaxing and blissful experience. We loved the natural hot tub and there was plenty of wood for that plus a fire. The pizza was delicious, an excellent addition to our stay. Susi was so friendly and welcoming, then left us to complete privacy. we would definitely stay again!

Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing stay. Bryony was super responsive and helpful, going above and beyond. We had a horrible start to the trip with a punctured tyre but Byrony and her partner sorted it out for us! Without asking. Super grateful and appreciative The place is absolutely as described. Very homely with beautiful personal touches. The hot tub was ready for our arrival too which was a very thoughtful touch. The location is on a stunning family farm, surrounded by many fields nice for going for a walk and surrounded by sheeps. We would definitely recommend and will be back again!

Shepherds hut was probably our favourite Air bnb so far! Being greeted by Jane was a lovely start to our holiday, she made us feel right at home. The hut itself is perfectly decorated, cosy and clean. Every detail was so carefully considered and Jane had even moved some sheep into the overlooking field for us which made our stay feel magical. We loved the hot tub and views - we watched the sunset one night and sat in the rain listening to the birds on the other, which really felt like a spa experience! This was our first holiday with our puppy, he loved the sheep and they even came to say hello! We had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible (playing cards, dog treats, tasty Welsh cakes). We 100% want to return, our only regret was not booking an extra night - there’s plenty to explore on the farm and nearby. Our puppy refused to get in the car when he realised we were packed up to go home! Thank you Jane for doing such a great job ❤️🌲

Amazing price and a stunning little place in the most relaxing little corner of yorkshire. Great host very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great spot for animal lovers so many beautiful animals to see right on your door step Will definitely be back! We will miss George the dog, beautiful alpacas, sheep and the friendly chicken that spent the evening with us! We had a lovely BBQ over looking the beautiful fields and hills so picturesque! It was amazing a lovely escape from reality just you and your partner shut off from the world for a little while. No noise just silence. And the cows in the distance made the stay 10/10.

Ruth is a lovely host, she was really helpful with any questions before our stay and quick to respond. She provides lots of information before and during the stay which was made our stay easy. Her place is beautiful and just like the pictures. Being able to sit outside and enjoy the views, nature and weather was amazing.

We had such a wonderful stay for my partners birthday, Clive went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by putting up some birthday decorations and leaving us some treats for when we arrived. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind in nature, we were always surrounded by animals whether it was Norman the cat visiting during a bbq, hanging out with the goats, or watching the ducks drift about in the stream while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you very much to Clive and Nikki for hosting us. I cannot recommend Kingfisher enough, we truly had an amazing time :)

Lovely night away for our wedding anniversary. Host Steve very welcoming and showed us to the hut. The space was perfect. We had a lovely relaxing, peaceful time together. Just what we needed. Will book again!

We had an amazing stay at the hut! The hot tub was absolutely fantastic – the perfect way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. It was lovely to finish off the evening by the log fire, with everything we needed already provided. The setting was peaceful and cozy, and it made for a truly memorable getaway. My partner had a wonderful time celebrating her 30th birthday here – she loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing escape!

Me and my bestie loved Donna’s shepards hut! It was so beautiful, clean and had everything we needed! Donna communicated on how to get there with a picture of the drive so we knew what was was looking for. And even showed us around and where everything was (plus quick cuddles with the dogs) couldn’t recommend enough. Xx

We only stayed one night but this place was exactly what we needed! peaceful, quiet, Tom helped us to check in early which was super nice. There is no wifi at the hut (as far as I’m aware) but like I said, we only stayed for one night so it was perfectly fine! If we’re ever in the area again, we would happily stay again.

I needed a few nights on my own to decompress from a difficult few weeks and this was the absolute perfect place. I felt completely safe as a lone female. Glyn and Harriet were friendly but not obtrusive. Hut was exactly as photos. Beach is beautiful and I enjoyed my 48 hours immensely. I suspect I will be back!
