Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Friesland

I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 months. The apartment is beautiful, large, and modern. The apartment is much larger than I expected and had every amenity one could think of. The location is perfect! It is in a great area and a few 100 meters from the centre and restaurants. The hosting was friendly and welcoming, with all our needs attended too. i can highly recommend it!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

Dorianne is a very pleasant host: responds quickly, is helpful and easy to handle arrival time and departure time. Furthermore, also pleasant remotely, gives confidence to the guests, where we felt completely at home.

On first impression, we were super impressed with the apartment as soon as we walked in. The place was very well supplied and very well decorated and inviting. We loved the big windows and with being on the second floor, we had wonderful views of the canal and all the activity in the area. The restaurants we went to were all excellent, especially Pompeii’s. Be sure to bring ear plugs as the noise from outside carries right into the apartment. We both commented that this apartment would be a place we’d be happy living in long term.

We loved our stay in It Winkelhús. Wonderfully fresh and clean on arrival and well facilitated in several ways. What a solution also the go-to-go (cool)cupboard to avoid waste of food items. Close to Midsland, bike rental and bus stop. In short, recommended!

What a wonderful stay! For the second time we have enjoyed this beautiful and cozy cottage. Everything you need is present – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds on which you sleep wonderfully. The cottage is neatly clean and really radiates warmth and coziness. Located in a charming and cozy street, it immediately feels like coming home. The host is friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Absolutely recommended – we would love to come back!

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay in the beautiful house of George and Irene was simply wonderful! Three generations have found the perfect place to stay. The house is comfortably furnished and offers a quiet location, yet close to the beach and shops. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast on the terrace, where we were surrounded by breathtaking nature and could watch many geese, rabbits and other animals. Great apartment, very nicely decorated. It was not one of the usual very clean anonymous vacation rentals, but simply a home.

We loved our stay with Mandy! The place was exactly as described. She gave us many local recommendations and was very accommodating and helpful. We loved being in a small secluded town. Short drives to ferry for island visiting and short drive to for restaurants other than the lovely pub in town.

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. Also nice was the sun in the front garden, where we could have breakfast quietly. The location is nice and quiet, so we were able to sleep really well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back. Finally, I would like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, wonderful week. My family and I had a lovely 2 night stay at Janke's place. The house was as described and the village was beautiful. we visited Schiermonnikoog Island which is a little gem! Thank you Janke for the stress free stay.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

The flat at Jorinde was wonderful! It was not only clean, but also very cosily furnished, so that you immediately felt at home. The view of the lake was particularly beautiful - perfect for unwinding. The surrounding area also invites you to go on many great excursions, be it for walks or to explore the region. A particular highlight is the cat café run by Jorinde. It is incredibly inviting and definitely worth a visit! All in all, a wonderful place to stay that I can only recommend.
