Loft vacation rentals in Friesland

This upper floor is excellent: neat, all amenities you need are present (our boys loved the bedstee), in the center of Dokkum. You will notice in all the details that a lot of time and love have been put into this house. We're definitely going back!

We (two adults and two children 2 and 7) enjoyed it very much. The place is very spacious, has a super nice bathroom and the shared kitchen is well equipped. For the kids, especially the horses and the pony were an experience. We were also allowed to take a horseback ride with the pony. In the area we can recommend a trip to the seal center in Pieterburen or the island of Schiermonnikoog. Supermarkets are in the area in Dokkum just 8 minutes by car. A small suggestion for improvement: a few cabinets or shelves would be nice so you do not have to live out of a suitcase. With the many clothes with children, there is chaos in the entire place quickly.

Had a great stay at Hélène's. The apartment is very spacious, nice bed and nice spacious bathroom. The reception was very pleasant, we felt very welcome. The breakfasts made by Hélène were delicious and healthy, everything organic, it really felt like a vacation. The daily meal is also highly recommended. The area around the Airbnb is beautiful for hiking and cycling, we enjoyed the nature. Highly recommended, we hope to go back again!

We stayed with Bianca for 7 days. 2 adults and 4 children. It was great. The place offers many possibilities for families. The children had bicycles and other vehicles available. Horses, goats, chickens and cats were also there for cuddling. The beds were very comfortable, almost better than at home :) Everything was clean, the kitchen equipped with everything needed. The kids made friends and the parents can also sit together comfortably in the evening. The surroundings offer many opportunities, uncomplicated fishing, ferries to the island, sandy beaches, indoor with a small zoo. All in all it was a great vacation, the kids were also thrilled!

Bianca and Edword have created a lovely, creative and beautiful home to rent in Metslawier. Our family felt welcome right away. The animals, the apartment, the warm and kind contact, the helpful information which was given, everything was just so well thought of. The kids would have loved to stay longer and did not want to leave the house for any planned activity at all. We would recommend it all the way. Thank you Bianca and Edword!

A unique, lovingly furnished apartment with many possibilities. The entire complex is also great to book for multiple families. The large kitchen is shared. The animal residents are also very dear. We especially liked the sauna on the rainy day. Bianca is super easy to reach and very nice, the children were even allowed to take a little pony ride. If you have a car, you can take many nice trips in the area.

Our stay in a unique arthouse in the fishing village of Den Oever was a fantastic experience. The house, filled with art, history and curiosities, provided a creative and inspiring base. The location was perfect: in the middle of a beautiful and captivating area of the Afsluitdijk, ideal for walks along the coast and discovery tours in the many villages. In addition, the house was centrally located for trips to both Friesland and the rest of North Holland, which allowed us to explore much of the region. from beach days with the children to boat trips across the many canals. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. She was quick to respond to all our questions and was always ready for a chat. This arthouse is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a creative and atmospheric place to stay in a beautiful setting.

We had a great time in Wills larger than expected space. Will was a kind and generous host. The apartment is a great base to explore the island away from the more commercial, over-touristy spots.

We had a wonderful weekend away with friends in this beautiful Airbnb. Everything was beautifully clean and new! Good quality furniture and very friendly host. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others!

Very nice and comfortable one-room appartment with highly functional equipment & furniture, but at the same time very cosy atmosphere. Beautifully located directly at the lake and quiet - perfect to relax and to come down, even in case of rainy weather. A restaurant and boat & bike hires are just in walking distance. And Belinda is really very nice and helpfull. So: all thumbs up!-)

Amazing property amazing location. Stayed here for two nights and it was a good base for visiting Giethoorn and Amsterdam. Anna was super friendly and very prompt in communication. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

A excellent stay at Residence Leeuwarden. Apartment is beautiful and very spacious with a lovely terrace. It is very clean, quiet, and comfortable and has lots of towels and supplies. We had access to bicycles which we enjoyed very much. The buses and trains are nearby. Rika and Tjeerd are very friendly hosts and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend.
