The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Apartment Grutto is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by public transportation (5 minutes' walk). There is also a sandy beach on the Tjeukemeer within a 5-minute walk.

Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. Uniquely decorated with lots of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. Just a few kilometers from the lively town of Schagen and ten kilometers from the sea and beach is our B and B in the authentic village of Barsingerhorn. We offer you a lot of privacy in the B and B, which is located in the former coach house with its own entrance (1868) and terrace. We have tried to preserve the character of the former and combine it with the requirements of the present time. The bathroom is new, and the double bed is spacious and has a good mattress. You are warmly welcome!

The Music Box is the nicest B&B to enjoy the city pleasures of Leeuwarden as friends or a "set" (the beds can be separate or together!). You will stay in a private room on the ground floor, in a monumental building, which is centrally located in a historic place near the city center. The room has a cozy terrace in the shared front garden, bathroom and kitchenette and is decorated with art and music items to give your stay a special touch. It is small, but surprisingly fun and nice!

Bed & Breakfast "Spanjaardslaan" is located in a mansion within walking distance of the city center near NHL Stenden, the theater, museums and restaurants. The sleekly furnished attic rooms both have a double bed (see the additional info about this)! The floor has a private bathroom. You can make your own coffee and tea and have access to a fridge. Breakfast is not included in the price, but for EUR 10.00 per breakfast and per person, this can be provided.

The forest is calling! Warthog Family

Warthog Family is a unique holiday home, reminiscent of a small village. 'This village' is equipped for 1 to 5 people and is all alone for you an your partner, your family or your couple of friends! Warthog Family is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest on our nature campsite. This holiday home is approximately 20m2 in size and consists of three separate cottages. The cottages are connected by a spacious wooden terrace of 15 m2.

This is the master bedroom of our characteristic building. A large bright room with beautiful views and light from two sides. There is a sitting area, large table, coffee and tea facilities, TV, reading lights by the bed and the sofa. You share the bathroom, as well as the separate toilet, with any guests from the other rooms. The rooms are located on the second floor. You have to be able to walk well, the stairs have no handrail.
