The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

It was wonderful to stay in the yurt. The warmth that the wood stove gives is unparalleled, so nice. In the morning, the chickens welcome you. The intuitive painting workshop was also very cool. I will definitely be back! Thanks for hospitality.

A very nice cottage to enjoy in peace. The private terrace is very nice to enjoy. When the sun is out you have sun all day. The cottage has all the amenities and shops are within walking distance.

Beautiful views and very nice and comfortable house! Lovely quiet area. Friendly hosts, easily accessible in case of questions and even offered us an earlier check in.

Had a very nice stay. Clean house and all necessities were present, great! Furthermore, beautiful garden with nice trampoline and we enjoyed the hot tub, which is also wonderful with rain. All I would have liked to know in advance is that the garden is directly adjacent to the family's garden. This made it feel a little less private. Fortunately, he was very friendly, so that was fine. Furthermore, Hari was friendly and responsive, so that was nice too. Many thanks to Hari and the rest of the family!

After the very friendly welcome by Helen and her husband with helpful tips, we felt very comfortable in the cottage. The beautiful landscape invites you to stroll. In close proximity there are also beautiful towns (Leeuwarden and Harlingen) that are worth visiting. There are also various good restaurants here, some of which we visited and were never disappointed. All in all a nice and relaxing holiday, but unfortunately - as always - too short :-)

We arrived a little late at location after a long day of work. This was not a problem for the great host and hostess. We were warmly welcomed in the evening and we felt right at home. The cottage was above expectations. You absolutely don't feel like you're at someone's home. Our first evening went wonderfully after a good home-cooked meal with all the necessities for a culinary feat. The next day we hardly got out of our bed because it was so nice. Ba some tips from the host we could take a super nice walk in the adjacent forest. Saved at sabrina's tip to a delicious restaurant. Really nice to be away from it all. We are helped with a warm welcome by these wonderful people with their beautiful and especially sweet dogs. This cottage is a number 1 recommended by us!! Hopefully, until soon and thank you!

we enjoyed this place. there was enough space for 2 families, the play area inside and the horses in the yard, made it complete.

The chalet is in a stunning location, surrounded by nothing but fields. The chalet is well-equipped, just don't forget to take all the towels you need (including tea towels and hand towels). Annemarie was a wonderful host and took the time to talk to us around the farm. We can't wait to go back!

The campsite is really very nice and, if you do not arrive in the high season, also quite empty. The equipment of the public outdoor kitchen is completely sufficient, so you can also take care of yourself there. However, I would not recommend arriving without a car as there are no supermarkets nearby and the train station is a half hour walk away. The tent and bed were very cozy and despite mild temperatures it was warm in bed. However, my only point of criticism would be the noisy street nearby, which is also very busy at night. Otherwise, really highly recommended!

Fantastic place to stay! Extremely friendly, welcoming hosts, who were also so great that they wanted to pick us up and take us to the Friese Woudenpad we walked! Beautiful quiet place with spotless and stylish room and "living room/kitchen", very warm welcome with drink, also extra possibility to order drinks/snacks, and of course the garden! Especially a piece of garden for guests, including campfire pit and gazebo. Oh and within walking distance of supermarket, restaurant and bus stop. What else do you want? In one word, great!❤️ We'll definitely be back sometime 😀

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend! The place itself is incredibly beautiful: the unobstructed view over the meadow, the peace and quiet and all modern amenities. The garden room is practical and nice to stay "in the evening or "in the morning, the tent was spacious and tidy and the breakfast was delicious. Nearby, there is plenty to do, so we went kayaking in the Linde, we visited Wolvega and we went hiking at 2 dolmens. We had a great weekend! Not to mention: the BBQ and the hot tub were really an addition to our weekend. Beautiful under the stars!

A beautiful place hidden in the Frisian countryside. Nice reception and the accommodation is as described, nothing to criticize. From here you can easily go in all directions to visit Frisian places or lakes, walk or bike. A day crossing to Ameland or Terschelling is fine and takes little time. Repeatable.

What an excellent house to stay. Very great surroundings, quiet and beautiful stargazing at nights. Close enough for travelling around Friesland and/or visiting the isles of Ameland/Schiermonnikoog. The house itself has all features you need. Great kitchen, very good beds and big badroom. Highly recommended for a stay.

Nice cottage in small-scale recreation park. Children (7 and 4) had a lot of fun in the playground. Houses are close together, but still sufficiently quiet. Cottage is clean, modern and equipped with every comfort. Communication with Christi was good information was clear and straightforward.

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

A really nice house with good basic amenities and a top modern bathroom! Geertje is very friendly and responds in the shortest time. We felt very comfortable, especially in the great garden. I'm sure we'll be back!

Very quiet at night, very peaceful sleep, excellent coffee, greeted by chickens and a rooster in the morning.

It's lovely to stay in Xer's house! And in the quiet, green surroundings you will completely relax. It is really recommended!

It was all exactly as in the photos and as the description of the listing. It's a really great, spacious and stylishly furnished house. It was totally clean. You immediately felt at home. The cozy beds were also really great. We had a really nice time. It is highly recommend.
