This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

Guesthouse Út fan Hús

The Út fan hús apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with fridge and bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance. From the apartment, you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water, where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The city of Sneek is a 15-minute drive, Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. Entirely in style you sleep in our charming double bedstee or in the bunk bed. (Safe for kids) The wood fired hot tub can be booked for €90,- for a weekend and €120 for a (mid)week This is spacious for 2 adults (2 kids can join) The sauna is included for free. Inside is a nice sitting corner, stunning views and a cozy dining room with comfortable chairs. The cottage is next to the nature campsite (only open in summer)
