We had a lovely stay for a week at the houseboat and didn’t want to leave. The views and location are amazing. So peaceful with lots of birds to see and beautiful scenery. The sauna and cold dips were a great start to the day. Ulrica was very friendly and welcoming with some lovely recommendations. We hope to go back again soon.

Alex is a true Scottish Gentleman, and a very gentle and well-read soul at that. Nestled in a small piece of highlands heaven, Alex's farm is tranquil (though there's a spot of logging over yonder in 2025) and the a-frame house matched Magnus's description and caveats. I could have spent a lot more time talking to the erudite Alex over a cup of tea, but he had sheepdogs to train! A wonderful stay indeed.

We had an amazing stay here! Beautiful views from the pod and a great walking trail just a minute down the road. We had dinner at Bulmans and it was excellent and so close! Daragh was very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean with fresh bread and milk when we arrived. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved staying at Anna and Oli's place! The location can't be beat with a direct view of Kirkjufell! The cabin and amenities were sufficient for the stay. We loved their friendly dogs and the several farm animals! Highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area.

What can I say. The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. It’s not just an Airbnb property, it’s an experience. If you don’t love Giovanni and his obvious passion for what he does, there’s something wrong with you. The pictures look great, but they don’t do it justice. Such an incredible business in the most incredible location looked after with incredible attention to detail. Book it, you won’t find better.

Perfect stay! Beautiful house with an incredible view. Worth every penny for the view alone! In addition to the hot tub and all of the great features, I also appreciated the thoughtful small touches, like sleep masks.

Ein kleines Paradies! Wir hatten uns sofort wohl gefühlt und sehr gut geschlafen. Ein ruhiger Ort und mit allem Comfort!

Una pasada. Un finde muy molón en la casita. Por poner una pega, el baño seco bueno para un par de días vale, pero para una estancia larga con el calor y eso sería un poco más rollo, olía un poco. Eché de menos algo de menaje en la cocina pero bueno lo necesario para cocinar y montar una mesa para dos. Gracias Andrea.

Das Fässle war ein absolutes Highlight nach einem Wandertag am Schluchsee. Es ist auf einer Anhöhe gelegen, wodurch man einen Super Ausblick auf die Natur hat. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. War sicher nicht unser letzter Besuch ! Empfehlung geht raus 🫡

We hebben maximaal genoten van onze nacht in dit huisje. De hosts zijn fantastisch in wat ze doen, snelle communicatie en niets is te veel voor hen. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Het plekje wat zij gecreëerd hebben aan het einde van het strand voelt magisch aan en je komt er helemaal tot rust! Wakker worden met de zonsopkomst is iets wat wij nooit gaan vergeten!

Gave it to my mom as a birthday present surprise and she was over the moon! The place is so peaceful, you feel right at home, surroundings are stunning and the sauna is a cherry on top! Thank you so much for everything!

Eine außergewöhnliche Übernachtung mit einer Aussicht, die die meisten wahrscheinlich nur sehr selten im Leben haben! Die Birdbox ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben diese einzigartige Erfahrung sehr genossen und können es sehr empfehlen. Mit dem Wohnmobil ist das letzte Stück etwas abenteuerlich und bei schlechtem Wetter sicherlich nicht zu empfehlen. Daher im Zweifel bei die Gastgeber vorher anrufen und das Wohnmobil vor dem Beginn des Schotterwegs abstellen.

Das Haus von Oliver ist wirklich wunderschön: Ruhige Lage am Ende einer Sackgasse, toller Ausblick in alle Richtungen, innen gemütlich eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, gut ausgestattete Küche. Der Pelletofen sorgt an kühlen Abenden für Gemütlichkeit, bei Sonnenschein kann man auf dem Balkon oder auf einer Terrasse sitzen und dem Gezwitscher der Vögel lauschen. Und von der Begrüßung mit Musik, Schokolade und Blumen haben ja schon alle geschwärmt - das ist wirklich toll! Wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Die Umgebung bietet viele Wandermöglichkeiten und Ausflugsziele (z.B. der wunderschöne Skulpturenpark in Niederprüm), allerdings muss man von dem Gelände aus immer kurz an einer Landstraße entlanggehen, was mit Kindern ggf. schwierig sein kann. Oliver hat generell immer sehr schnell, flexibel und hilfsbereit reagiert. Vielen Dank für die erholsame Zeit, die wir in deinem Häuschen hatten! :-)

My husband and I loved our stay here. It was one of our favorite Airbnb’s to date. The surroundings were absolutely stunning. It was peaceful, quiet, and charming. The place looked exactly how it did on pictures and everything was clean and very organized. If we are ever back in Iceland, we hope to stay here again!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Strandhaus! Das Haus war super ausgestattet, sehr sauber und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das absolute Highlight war natürlich die traumhafte Aussicht – direkt am Strand gelegen, mit einem fantastischen Blick aufs Meer. Die Kommunikation mit Ole war von Anfang an unkompliziert, schnell und sehr freundlich. Man hat sich direkt gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Haus absolut weiterempfehlen – perfekt für eine erholsame Auszeit am Meer!

Fantastisk opplevelse! En lun og koselig Birdbox, med en spektakulær utsikt og usjenert beliggenhet. Birdboxen var utstyrt med det vi trengte for et behagelig opphold, i tråd med beskrivelsen i annonsen. Siv var en super vert, som svarte raskt på henvendelser og var på tilbudssiden. Vi fikk også en hyggelig tur opp til hytten sammen. Kan varmt anbefale et opphold på Birdbox Langeland, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning!

This was the most sensational location. The property itself is stunning and the surroundings so picturesque. We wanted to just switch off and get away from it all for a couple of days and thats exactly what we were able to do. Tony and Barbara are lovely and so very helpful, we loved learning about the history of the buildings and the Mill Pond. We will be recommending this property to friends and family. Séjour vraiment parfait. Cadre magnifique et tellement calme. Une vue magnifique du lit. Petit déjeuner sur la petite terrasse au soleil sur l'eau c'est parfait. Logement très propre, nickel. L'hôte est réactif et hyper gentil, les instructions données sont très claires. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr !!!

Die Unterkunft war wundervoll! alles sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. eine Idylle, die auf den Bildern schon sehr schön aussieht in Realität aber noch viel umwerfender ist. auch der Gastgeber ist super nett und hilfsbereit. ein Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. :D

We had the most incredible stay on the Isle of Skye, and our Airbnb cabin truly made the trip unforgettable. Tucked away in a peaceful, scenic spot, the cabin was cozy, beautifully designed, and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered—from the fully stocked kitchen and fluffy towels to the little touches like local guides and fresh coffee, and special touches celebrating our anniversary. Waking up each morning to panoramic views of the hills and sheep was something we’ll never forget. After long days of exploring Skye’s dramatic landscapes—Fairy Pools, Old Man of Storr, and Kilt Rock—it was such a treat to come back to a warm, inviting space where we could unwind and just soak it all in. We especially appreciated the extra amenities: fast Wi-Fi, a super comfortable bed, and even a breakfast kit which came in handy. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made us feel so welcome. If you’re visiting Skye, we couldn’t recommend this place more.
