Go from sintra about 12 km to Magoito beach (Praia do Magoito). When you arrive in Magoito go all the way down to the beach and pass the fortress by the sea. Turn right and you will see the last two white houses. You're there! There are no noisy works anymore but only a fence in the cliff. Original furniture from the time when the lighthouse keepers and their families lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse has a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, storage rooms, atrium with panoramic views, 3 bedrooms and a small kitchen that has been converted into an extra bedroom. Built by the Stevensons in 1857, Rubha nan Gall Keeper's Cottage has been completely renovated and now offers a comfortable home for up to 6 guests from which to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and abundant wildlife.
