The exclusive saltwater infinity pool with whirlpool is surrounded by the greenery of the Mediterranean maquis. This oasis of privacy and relaxation has everything you need, including a solarium area, an outdoor shower, and a bathroom. The depth of the pool water meets the legal requirements to ensure maximum safety even for the little ones. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

The property is a large lower ground floor flat that consists of two beautiful bedrooms and two stunning ensuite bathrooms. It has a warm and welcoming open plan living space and kitchen. The main double bedroom is very large with a comfortable seating area, a TV and a writing desk. It has a beautiful ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. The room also benefits from a walk-in wardrobe. The second ensuite bedroom is smaller but has a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds on request. The room has a TV and built-in storage. The open plan kitchen and living area is a great place to eat and be social. It contains a large TV and plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen has an integrated fridge, dishwasher and cooker. There's a separate utility room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and a large fridge freezer. The flat has 3 smart TVs and a Sonos speaker in the living area. We hope you find everything you need to have an enjoyable stay but we are close by so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any problems. Please note that this is a quiet residential area. The flat is in an old Victorian building and we are very mindful and respectful to our neighbours. The flat is in the bustling Seven Dials area with family-friendly parks, cafes, boutique shopping, and charming pubs nearby. The lively waterfront of Brighton, the beach, the boardwalk, and an array of restaurants and shops are just steps away. Most parts of the city are easily readable by foot from the flat. If you're driving, there is on-street paid parking nearby. Alternatively, there's loads of great transport options nearby to get around and see the city including city bikes and buses. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.
