We recently stayed at April’s place while attending my sister’s funeral service, and it turned out to be the perfect home away from home during a difficult time. The house was clean, peaceful, and very thoughtfully prepared. Although we didn’t choose the place for its Harry Potter theme, it added a surprisingly comforting and magical atmosphere to our stay. April was a wonderful host—she provided thoughtful breakfast essentials like milk, cereal, tea, sugar, and fresh fruit, which we really appreciated. When I had a question about an adapter for charging electronic devices, she responded right away and quickly resolved the issue. Overall, our experience was seamless and comforting. We had no complaints and would absolutely recommend April’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept, and welcoming stay—with a fun Harry Potter twist!

We had a great stay in Judith's place. As someone who has been to Amsterdam several times, I always wanted to stay in the Jordaan neighborhood. This space was perfectly located on a quiet street that was close to great restaurants, bars and cafes. The apartment was spacious and clean serving as a great headquarters for our adventures. Judith was a responsive and courteous host. We would certainly stay here again.

Good place to stay if you're visiting Venice. You can catch buses to the main island, and from the station, so it's very easy to get around. It's a great space - sizeable kitchen, bathroom and bed. Roberto was really great - he gave us some great tips and advise on check-in, and was helpful with any requests we had while staying in his flat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beate’s apartment. It is was well equipped, very quiet and nicely decorated. It is a very short walk to shops and the train station. The surrounding area offers many pleasant places to walk.

We had a great stay at Paulo and Caroline's! Beautiful building, with great restaurants nearby and very walkable to the main Porto attractions. Definitely visit the Jardins do Palacio Cristal which is only 5 minutes away, that was the highlight of our trip - we went twice in 3 days! There is some neighborhood noise (some construction during the day, dogs barking in the morning) but overall it was a very peaceful place. Caroline was responsive to all our questions and provided a lot of recommendations for the city as well. I would stay here again!

Perfection. Absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and safe. A really peaceful sanctuary after the hectic feeling of the city centre. But so centrally located. We cycled to the centre on bikes we hired from a bike shop about 5 mins walk away. It took about 25 mins to cycle to the centre. We also got taxis a couple of times for convenience and it was a 10 min drive to the centre/termini station, cost 10-20 euros. The swimming pool and beautiful garden were a godsend in the heat. Ale and Roby were welcoming, kind and helpful, such lovely people. The friendly family cats were the icing on the cake! Highly recommended - we were sad to leave! Thank you both for sharing your lovely villa!

Had a very nice time at Fleur. Wonderful cottage with all the comforts and the wellness made the stay complete. Enjoyed and completely relaxed. The love arrangement and breakfast were taken care of perfectly! We'd love to come back!

This is an absolutely gorgeous place. The accommodation was 5star with all the comforts of home and extras you didn’t know you would want. We are from Australia and have no need for underfloor heating at home, but really appreciated it in the bathroom here. The location is fabulous with a beautiful view of Vizovac island minutes away. Hosts were amazing with helpful recommendations. Would come back once a month if we lived in Croatia.

Kathleen was a fantastic host with clear, plentiful info in advance. She provided lots of fantastic restaurant recommendations that turned out to be top notch places to eat. Her arrival instructions were clear and explicit, with photos that were very helpful. The accommodations were clean and bright, exactly as dedicated in listing. The bed was comfortable, the towels were nice, and the pool was awesome. It was wonderful to be able to walk into the village. Wonderful perk to have parking and also laundry. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Laurent’s. It is a peaceful and beautiful spot up in the hills of the countryside. After having spent a couple of weeks in Spains busier areas it was a welcome reprieve…so nice to wake up and have coffee looking at the majestic view and listening to the birds. Laurent was a very considerate, kind and interesting host.

I booked Honeysuckle Annex as a birthday present for my husband, and I was so happy that it was exactly what I wanted. A beautiful place with everything you would need and much more. The extra touches made it feel even more special . The home baked bread and cookies, the jams, chutney, cheese and even milk and juice. Lorraine even provided a nice bottle of fizz too. The hot tub is surrounded by a beautiful garden. We absolutely loved the bed and bed linens. My hubby had the best sleep ever. X Thank you very much, we would definitely recommend Honeysuckle annex and would definitely stay again. X

amazing garden out of a fairytale, the only bad side is it has ruined public parks for me now. the breakfast was private in a greenhouse with succulent surroundings and was quite surreal. made the trip to palermo worth it for this spot alone. definitely recommend.

The apartment is exactly as described and is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area (Mainz/Wiesbaden, Koblenz, Trier). Birgit welcomed us herself and gave us tips for activities. Various wineries are nearby, restaurants are also within walking distance. If we are nearby again, we would come back any time.

It was the perfect stay for us for 4 nights. Very close to a bus stop and yet in the countryside. The outdoor space was beautiful and gave us the peace we needed. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. The room with bed gave us a good night's sleep. Paul welcomed us warmly and gave us a clear explanation of the region. The walking tips, for example, to the store were useful. So we didn't have to take the bus and we were right in the countryside. We have enjoyed it. Thank you Paul.

This is an elegant courtyard apartment with good natural light, responsive hosts, and an excellent location. It is extremely close to a U-Bahn stop, but the proximity of the U-Bahn doesn't make it noisy at all. It is uncommonly clean. And the high ceilings and tall door frames ensure that even people who are seven feet (213 cm) tall will have no problem walking around inside. When my friends visit Berlin, I will strongly encourage them to consider this apartment. The mattress is very soft by U.S. standards, and it gets quite warm. Those who prefer firmer bedding may want to sleep on the couch—one of our party did, and she found that she slept better there.

Incredible hosts, great location, we stayed here and travelled into central daily and it was perfect. Nice location out in the countryside while not being too far from the city. Great hosts who were incredibly accommodating and messaged us each day to see if we needed anything. Pre arrival they told us everything we needed to know to get there safely. All in all a great stay absolutely wonderful hosts and a fantastic location

We had a wonderful week at Casa Brava. The apartment is beautiful, authentic and lovingly furnished, with its own terrace and seating in a very nice property embedded in the beautiful landscape of southern Portugal. In the evening, you can admire the sunset on the shared roof terrace and swim in the natural pool. Marco and Julie are wonderful hosts, they are very warm and open and were always very concerned about our well-being. We didn't miss anything. Breakfast was delicious and eclectic. Since I have to eat strictly gluten-free, they prepared it gluten-free for me! (This is a considerable effort and not a matter of course). Overall, beautiful and a clear recommendation

We had an amazing stay at Lars! It was our first time in the area, and he was so great and proactive in helping us feel welcome, comfortable, and confident at getting around. He provided us with very clear instructions and great recommendations. He was really clear about what transportation to take as to not have to climb the stairs to his place- sadly, we did not heed that advice and literally walked all the way up….it was miserable. Please don’t make the same mistake. We have hiked lots of high mountains, but this was terrible with our luggage. Anyway, Lars was very clear on helping you avoid this. Our bad! The place had the most amazing view! I already miss it!! It’s quiet, clean and so comfortable. Great place, great host! I highly recommend and would book again! Thanks for a great stay!!

This apartment was wonderful. It was well located, clean, and well stocked. Restaurants were within convenient walking distance. All in all we loved Veronique’s place.

Henley’s place is specious, comfortable and homey. The location is great, a stone through from the Pompidou Center on one side and the Marais on the other side. Walkable all around. Henley is very responsive and did her best to make our stay (and late check out), as comfortable and easy as possible. Lots of recomendations and advice to any question. Very recomended!
