Vacation rentals with a kayak in Europe

Even better than the photos. I’ve been waiting years to find a weekend at this place and it was worth it. Glorious.

Saverio was super friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over on our road trip. He was very responsive and happy to answer any questions we had- even ones unrelated to our stay about the road rules in Italy. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. He left us water, milk and snacks for the morning which was a kind gesture. This felt more like a hotel stay than an air b n b. We checked in late and checked out early and saverio was happy to accommodate this. Only wish we had more time here. Thanks for our stay!

Great stay! The house is very warm, the garden (part of which is shared) is very beautiful, peaceful, a perfect place to rest and spend time with friends or family! Aleksa is very welcoming and very responsive, everything was perfect :)

We had a lovely stay. The setting is very nice, peaceful, in the heart of nature. The accommodation is very well-equipped, the sauna and pool are very enjoyable. Warning: those sensitive to insects should refrain.

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Zoran's father, Zdravko, contacted us the day before he arrived. He was extremely welcoming and friendly. He had made all the notifications before we arrived. When we arrived, he greeted us at the door and introduced the house we were staying in detail. When we said we were here for a honeymoon, his wife Tatjana made a cake for us at home and even left drinks with it. We are very happy with this courtesy. The house was peaceful and very beautiful, as shown in the photos. It had its own pool, a pier where you could swim, and even a canoe you could use. Details such as bagels and play balls that you can use at sea or in the pool were also considered. The house was quite clean and equipped to meet all our needs. It also had a parking lot. If you're looking for a peaceful, private space, this is the place for you. The sunset and the view were really fascinating. Thank you very much again to Zdravko and Tatjana! :)

Thanks so much Boris for a great stay. Komiza is a stunning little town and this place is perfectly placed right on the sea front close to restaurants and the main beach. Air con worked great so nice and cool despite the heat. comfortable bed and peaceful location. Stunning view from the balcony (the pictures don't do it justice). Kitchen great for cooking with everything you need and the kayak was a fabulous extra. Wonderful quaint little island with plenty to do for a week's stay and so relaxing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house with incredible view and wonderful hostess

We had high expectations from poring over photos and reviews of Banc-yr-Eithin prior to our stay and it somehow managed to exceed them. The cottage and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and the facilities are incredible, you want for nothing during your stay here. Highlights include watching the birds at the feeders, the treehouse, the underfloor heating in the bathroom, the sauna, the games room in the barn, waking to the sound of birdsong, I could go on! Sussanah and Hugh are the perfect hosts, they were incredibly helpful both prior to and during our stay. We were staying with a relative with health issues and limited mobility and they were extremely helpful in ensuring that he was comfortably accommodated. They dealt with this issue with compassion, discretion and kindness. We were incredibly grateful to get to sample Hugh's cinnamon buns and they did not disappoint! They were delicious and much appreciated. Thank you for an incredible stay, we can't wait to return soon!

We were warmly greeted by Alain and Clair on arrival – they couldn’t have been more welcoming, and their kindness really set the tone for our stay. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, a real escape from the hustle and bustle. The highlight for us was sitting and looking out at the river and waterfall right next to the property – the view was stunning and the sound of the water was so soothing. We left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Highly recommended!

The place is very quiet with a wonderful view. In the numerous details, you can immediately see how much love and effort has been invested. It almost feels like you're living in a work of art. If I had to give a recommendation to Sweden newcomers, art lovers or a group, it would be this!

Our stay at this comfortable and well-equipped cottage near Gothenburg was simply great! The house is quietly located, perfect to escape the stress of everyday life and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The furnishings are modern and thoughtful, so we felt comfortable right away. The surroundings are beautiful and invite you to take relaxing walks. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this vacation home.

Great and cozy place to stay. We felt very comfortable. Per was easy to reach with questions and gave great tips for the area and good fishing spots. We'll be back.

We had a great time at Jennifer's place. Even with mixed weather in early June, the place provided enough space and opportunities (well equipped kitchen, spacey living room, sauna) to spend time even during rain.

We loved our stay at the Chapel! The Chapel itself is beautiful with everything you’d need and expect, with very helpful labels and instructions so you can make yourself right at home! The location and views of the lake are superb and the nearby footpath leads you directly into Coniston along the lakeshore (4 miles each way) Daphne was a great host and always super responsive to any questions we had. The option of the canoe rental was a nice addition to take advantage of the private lakeshore area directly accessible from the Chapel. Loved it!

Where even to start! That place is truly paradise. The surrounding, the beautiful spacious house, the the outdoor terrace, the view on the lake. The fireplace, the jetty, the well equipped kitchen, the sauna directly at the lake...I can go on and on, and for sure would forget so much since everything is just outstanding. It feels like being far away from everything, you're not seeing any other house or neighbor. But you are actually super close to a great infrastructure, with restaurants and supermarkets close by. We stayed there with 4 adults and 3 kids, and since we got the small shed as an extra house, there was more than enough place for everybody. If we are lucky enough to catch open spots at a time that works out for us - we SO will come back! If you are hesitating to book...just do it. You will never regret it!

The place is simply indescribably beautiful - we really enjoyed the days. The view of the water is very special. Bergen is less than 30 minutes away by car. Knut was always very friendly and helpful. Thank you - we absolutely recommend the accommodation 😊

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is idyllic and perfect for two families who want to relax and enjoy nature. We used both boats and kayaks, and the kids were thrilled to see crabs - extra nice that the host took the time to show them. The evenings were spent around the campfire and in the jacuzzi – a perfect end to nice days. Everything was clean, well organized and incredibly cozy. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. We will definitely be back - thank you so much!

We enjoyed this week so much. Get up in the morning and watch the sunrise, have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river, swim in the river, go to the beach a little in the afternoon and watch the sunset in the evening and go to the great fish restaurant next door or on the beach. Just relax. We liked it so much that not even the construction work on the neighboring house could bother us. It's really fantastic and a real tip. If it wasn't so far away, we'd be back soon.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Jannicke and Magnus' place. The view of the fjord and the huge mountain directly opposite is simply breathtaking – especially in summer, when you sit on the terrace in the sunshine. There really are hardly any more beautiful places to relax. The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub and sauna with a direct view of the water – it doesn't get any better! Otherwise, we lacked nothing in the accommodation. We were warmly greeted with a bottle of champagne, and the kitchen was excellently equipped – everything you need was there. The location is perfect – quiet, close to nature and yet shopping is easily accessible, which is not always a given in Norway. We were there with six people, and that also fit wonderfully in terms of size and layout. Thank you so much to Jannicke and Magnus for this special experience!
