Chalet vacation rentals in Europe

Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary weekend. As we didn't want to travel to far, what an amazing place it is. You can walk into Clitheroe within no time at all along a lovely Nature reserve if you wish or just along the road. We had an amazing meal at Tom's Table. Just sitting outside on the decking listening to the river flow by was so relaxing and you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. We will be visiting again. Highly recommend for a peaceful break with the option of a lovely village with lots of lovely places to eat and drink.

What a wonderful place to visit. Kerrera can be enjoyed in a day but better over a weekend and Zoe’s place was just perfect. The view, the cosiness.. it was just lovely. Zoe is one of the most accommodating hosts we’ve ever met - she was so kind and the lift from and back to the ferry was a lifesaver after a weekend of walking the island. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the chalet and I hope we’ll be back one day. Lovely lunch at the tea garden, lovely meal up at the marina, amazing walks and views. Definitely a hidden gem and a must visit.

This place is unlike any other- one you will never forget! Spectacular view! This place has everything you need- just as described.

We enjoyed the view of the accommodation and its location on the ground floor of Rachel and Aurélien's home. Access to the accommodation is by key box so we just regretted not being able to interact with Rachel and Aurélien who were present during our stay.

What a lovely peaceful place to stay , the cabin was cosy , clean and had everything you needed. Set looking over the beach it's so peaceful and only a couple of mins to walk to a beautiful sandy beach. We brought our dog with us mad he loved every minute thanks Lucia for a lovely stay we will definitely visit again Emma n Dan

If you're looking for peace and relaxation, you're in the right place. The chalet is in a peaceful and quiet environment in the middle of nature. The place is decorated with a lot of love for detail and it lacks nothing. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. Communication with Markus also went smoothly. He was always available for questions and recommendations

beautiful place, quiet, perfect if you want to "detoxify" from the city and disconnect for good. Perfect house in every way, very well made, isolated, warm, noise-proof windows, the stove works very well and is easy to use even for the less experienced, the heat rises quickly to the upper floor. I recommend it to everyone, it's really worth it. Hosting always available for anything.

Maya’s place was our idea of a getaway. You get to connect with the nature and get to experience a bit of the life of the locals. Maya was a super super host; we felt welcomed and right at home. Our weekend stay in the Alpen Chalet was simply fantastic. The location in the middle of the mountains offered stunning views and absolute tranquility – perfect for switching off. The chalet itself was lovingly decorated, cozy and at the same time high-quality and accessible in a few minutes via a private forest road. Overall, a perfect starting point for hikes. A big praise goes to our hostess Maria – she was always friendly, attentive and helpful. From uncomplicated communication to valuable information. She went out of her way to make us feel completely comfortable. An all-round relaxing experience – we will definitely be back!

Our stay at the landscape lodge was better than we could have imagined it! The scenery was breathtaking, the house was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and it was even more conveniently located than we’d anticipated! Abondance was a very short drive (or even walk!) away from the chalet, as were many other wonderful towns. Fran was an incredible host, providing clear instructions for all of the facilities and plenty of local recommendations on nearby activities and restaurants. Do not hesitate to book this place! Were there for a weekend with friends. Indoor everything your heart desires. Beautiful hiking trails can be reached directly from the accommodation. Plenty of space and well-equipped kitchen.

Roberta’s home was a dream. The view was breathtaking, surrounded by the mountains and a sea of trees. Roberta was responsive and helpful and getting us to the Airbnb. It was the ideal location to start my wife and I honeymoon, nearby a number of national parks and beautiful hikes. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to other guests.

Everything was perfect. The place was extremely remarkably clean, the rooms in very good condition, the living room beautiful and the kitchen very well equipped. We really had a great time!

Nice place, very cute. A little cozy if the weather isn’t on your side (the outdoor space is really nice). All in, great spot for a night or two. Also, there is a great independent champagne house just round the corner (Truchon, grab a bottle and enjoy the peace).

A true haven of peace in the heart of nature! This charming waterfront cabin is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the surrounding tranquility and go for a walk or bike ride. The accommodation is perfectly equipped, nothing is missing for a comfortable stay. Véronique is an attentive and caring host, who provides clear instructions for check-in, amenities and respect for the place. All with great availability if needed. A place that we highly recommend!

Exceptional! In every way. Our kids loved (5 and 1 year old); toys, trampoline, paddle board, sauna, water games, I think there's nothing they didn't enjoy during our stay. And for parents it's relaxing to know your kids are having fun all over the line even when traveling. A big plus: the safety of the place with the kids and the water. Probably one of the only properties so well installed (there's even a Child lock on the door leading to the dock!) We were amazed by everything there was to do and even extended the stay. The beds, pillows and duvets were super comfortable. A little small as a space on the other hand for more than 2 adults and 2 children but nothing that prevents you from enjoying the place, especially with the outdoors as well appointed.

You have to be here for the peace, the beautiful view, the nature. The cottage is compact and conveniently furnished. Everything is provided. Alex is a jovial, very social host. You can count on him 100%, with the necessary humor. An attraction in itself! You can walk very nicely and the village with a handful of restaurants can easily be reached via the Ravel. (5km).
