The staff on site and host were very responsive in all the messages. I love taking an evening walk around the lake where it’s peaceful and quiet. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Es war eine besondere und für uns lohnenswerte Übernachtung, da man in einem historischen Ort genächtigt hat - einer Templer-Burg. Sowohl das Schlafzimmer als auch der Frühstücksraum befinden sich in den ursprünglichen Mauern der Burg und sind auch innen mittelalterlich gestaltet mit authentischen Gegenständen. Die Gegend ist ruhig, idyllisch und lädt zum Spazieren ein. Uns hat das Frühstück gut geschmeckt (besonders das Baguette und die Croissants). Xavier war sehr freundlich und der Check-In sehr flexibel. Das Klima in der Unterkunft war etwas frisch und ganz leicht feucht, wobei wir das bei einem historischen Steingebäude auch nicht anders erwartet hatten. (Und es hätte auch Heizkörper gegeben, die wir hätten aufdrehen können). Ein paar Spinnchen hingen an den Holzdecken, wobei auch das kein Problem war. Die Unterkunft hatte viel Charme und versprühte einen Hauch von Zeitreise ins Mittelalter.

Die Unterkunft ist genauso wie beschrieben und Philipp ein freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der sich bei Fragen o.ä. auch Zeit für einen nimmt. Das Objekt ist ideal, um den Kopf "freizubekommen". Man muss sich aber im Klaren sein, dass das Gebäude in Teilen weiterhin saniert wird. Wer also glatte Modernität im Shappy-Chic-Style sucht wird garantiert enttäuscht werden. Wir haben es dort einfach klasse gefunden. AAA+++

I wish we could give more stars. Honestly spectacular in all ways. Perfect for a family trip extremely comfortable accommodations with enough to do we were busy hiking and exploring the gardens and forests and the palace itself. The town is just 2 miles away with great food and shops. So much to do outdoors. Truly spectacular.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the castle. It was fun to learn a little bit about the history of the place and know that we were staying in a historic place. I'm very grateful that Viktoria and her husband have opened their home up for guests to stay at. They were both very kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at Château de Castelnau-Valence was truly magical - like stepping into another century. Surrounded by peaceful nature and vineyards, the château offers a rare blend of history, tranquility and charm. We had the entire place to ourselves, which made it feel even more like our own private castle retreat :) The host was exceptional - friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about his family’s heritage. He greeted us with the glass of wine and took the time to give us a personal tour of the castle. The apartment was spacious, clean and full of character. Every corner felt special! If you r looking for a unique and peaceful escape with the personal touch and a deep sense of place, I highly recommend!

The most amazing experience! This lovely chateau for the 7 of us travelling in 4 classic cars - true highlight! The bedrooms & en suite bathrooms are spacious comfortable clean. Kitchen well stocked & our groups cozy center point. Parking ample. Everything is roomy & lovely & simply a joy to behold. The true star is host Cue - from the moment of our initial enquire to our departure, she has been incredible! Helpful, professional, clear communications, proactive - full of great ideas & boundless energy to make us feel like chateau royalty. Without hesitation- 5 star recommendation on every aspect!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war super sauber, gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und würden definitiv wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Absolutely lovely historic home in an adorable town. I only wished I booked more time here. This town and home was a highlight for our entire family. Very comfortable and felt at home. Highly recommend the cheese and chocolate stores that are just across the canal.

Peaceful and serene location .We felt right at home from the start .Our little dog loved the nearby beach and so many beautiful walks to choose from .Excellent location for cycling to Rosslare harbour or Kilmore Quay stopping off at the pub at Lady Island on way home . We will be back !!

Château très agréable , très belle propriété. Et beau jardin avec des arbres magnifiques . Maria nous fait un tour des caves et dégustation de vin, ce qui était très intéressant . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de maria et de sa maman qui étaient toujours soucieuses que notre séjour soit parfait

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

Our party of 11 so enjoyed our stay at the castle! The pictures are extremely accurate, but nothing compared to seeing it in person for the first time. It was stocked with everything we needed, especially everyday things for cooking, towels, blankets, etc. The walk up/down can be tough, but after the first couple of days we adjusted fairly well. All very worth it for such a unique experience and stay!! We also loved exploring the town of Settimo Vittone and the surrounding area. Karl was an excellent host and communicator, as well as Moreno and his wife. :)

The castle was stunning- inside and out. It was better than the pictures! I loved the quaint area. Far enough from big city to get peace, but close enough for a quick drive to smaller towns (down the street), and larger towns within 25 minutes (Stirling). The property is very well maintained and a great experience to live the "castle life". The inside did not disappoint! Every room got better and better. The first bedroom has a classic royal design. It is offset from other rooms and was perfect for my mom to stay in. My husband and I had the master with an ensuite. It was luxurious with robes, slippers, a glass vanity, hair dryer, flat iron, and more! The main area was beautifully decorated and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The stairs continuing up the tower led to a fun TV room, another room with stunning views where my teens stayed, and finally the balcony was indescribable. The property manager was a fantastic communicator and we enjoyed being welcomed so warmly!

Celine’s apartment is wonderful- spacious, clean, filled with light from beautiful windows and French doors and in a quiet, pretty village surrounded by an amazing forest. The villages nearby are also exceptionally pretty and there is an impressive castle and chateau nearby. Celine could not be more generous in all that she provides for guests and in her kind assistance. The bed with its luxury linens is super comfortable. A privilege to stay here. I highly recommend this chateau stay.

A beautiful place to stay , with so many extras , felt totally private and loved the use of the outdoor seating area and hot tub . Both me & my wife said it had been one of our favourites, note to others book somewhere to eat if travelling at the weekend. The only ‘extras’ we d of liked would have been robes & slippers but that said that’s being picky . A beautiful find .

We wanted a family evening together to remember and this property delivered! The obviously devoted planning and inspiration to develop such a peaceful setting into a ‘World of Pure Imagination’ was amazing. We sat outside eating and listening to many different species of birds singing! (Identified by the Merlin App). Wi-Fi, knights in armour, banqueting table, debates about whether the grandfather clock was vertical- or the walls, playing games together. Lovely combination of Alexa playing the right music with feeling you’d stepped back to a time before technology, truly the best of both worlds! Thank you.

Wir schließen uns den vorigen positiven Referenzen vollkommen an. Gianluca und Rita sind äußerst liebenswerte Gastgeber. Auch die alte Hundedame Astrid nahm unseren Rüden Yeshi geduldig auf. Wir genossen vom gepflegten Apartment im zweiten Stock einen traumhaften Panoramablick mit Sonnenauf- und Untergang. Wir hatten zu dritt einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem tollen und besonderen AirBnB. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, wir konnten die Zeit genießen und Niko stand bei Fragen schnell zur Verfügung und konnte immer gut helfen. Im Bad und in der Küche wurde an alles gedacht, was man - auch im Notfall - brauchen könnte. Der Schlossgarten und das ganze Anwesen sind eine Augenweide. Es war angenehm ruhig und die dörfliche Lage war ganz toll. Die dicken Mauern haben die Räumlichkeiten gut kühl gehalten, was für den heißen Sommerabend sehr dankbar war! Staying at the castle was truly a dream come true! What a magnificent place, and the village and people were so friendly and helpful! Our breakfast was so fresh and tasty every morning, and so plentiful. Staying at LaSassa was one of the highlights of our entire stay in Italy, and you truly felt like a king and queen! The renaissance details, authentic stone, painting and old touches really added to the charm. I was so sad to leave, and would recommend everyone to stay at this truly unique and wonderful place!! It was so nice to be away from the crowds of Rome and Florence, and the view of the Tuscan Valley from the top of the castle was breathtaking! I can’t say enough wonderful things about staying at the castle. Thank you so much Giacomo and staff for your wonderful hospitality, and making our trip to Italy the trip of a lifetime!!

Wir haben gute Empfehlungen von Fabienne vor der Anreise erhalten und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Es war ein traumhaftes Gefühl in einem Burgturm zu übernachten. Wir hatten uns Holz mitgebracht, damit wir die Abende am Kamin verbringen konnten. Die Einrichtung ist so schön und alles aufeinander abgestimmt. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen!!! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 👍

Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. Everything has been thought about. Want to sit in the garden but it's a bit chilly, it's ok they have blankets. Want to have a bbq outside, brilliant they have the bbq and kitchen full of utensils and plastic plates, bowels, and cups to prevent breakages. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, body wash, bath salts, towels... The list is endless with all the extras that come with this cottage. It's clean and tidy. Beds are comfy. There really isn't anything to complain about about. We did 2 nights here and could easily have done more. Thank you 😊

wir waren sofort begeistert von der tollen, paradiesischen Atmosphäre des Grundstücks. Die Unterkunft war richtig gemütlich, makellos sauber und hat einen wunderschönen Garten. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und auch unser Hund hat sich super mit dem Hofhund Blanco verstanden. die Kommunikation mit Delfina verlief stets reibungslos und schnell, sie war sehr freundlich und gut erreichbar. auch ihr Vater ist ein toller Gastgeber und hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen. besonders schön fanden wir es, im Garten zu duschen und die Spaziergänge abends nach und in Lazise. alles war wunderbar, danke für die schöne Zeit! 🫶🏼
