Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in England

WE enjoyed our stay at Netherwood Lodge. It was exactly what we were looking for as a family. The home was clean and modern, beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed.

We have just got home from a lovely stay at the deer farm, we stayed stable No 7 which was really lovely, comfortable bed and the amenities were really good. we met our host heather she was really lovely, my favourite bit of our stay was at the deer farm was seeing the Deer!! she also had alpacas and horses as well. so peaceful and just a really lovely place to stay! we went to the games expo at the NEC so was really convient for us. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lovely place would definitely stay again

A last minute cancellation with another property led us to find this one, and we're very glad we did! A beautiful, peaceful location with lovely grounds for the kids (and dog) to play in, and great local walks (there are so many useful guides/maps in the property). The hot tub is such a bonus, and the sheltered veranda allowed us to stay outside even though the weather wasn't amazing. We appreciated the fresh bread/cake/eggs/milk; the cake did not last long 😂. Local village has great pubs, and it's just a short drive to Kirkby Stephen for everything else. Tebay services also convenient for fast charging the EV and a bit of breakfast/shopping. We only had three days, but I'm sure we'll be back again. Thanks for a lovely break ☺️

This is an exceptional chalet and Jennie is absolutely lovely and very customer focused and super responsive. The little details and all the provisions are superb. The hot tub and grounds are stunning and the walls just gorgeous. We were gutted to leave and would love to come back.

Beautiful location- so peaceful. The lodge had everything you could need- hottub was amazing to watch the squirrels. Bats flying around at night and the sheep going for their daily walks were great to see. The beds were comfy, kitchen very well kitted out- even left a cake and bread and eggs- lovely touch. Thank you for a great break with the kids- youngest loved the bunk beds!

Wow! What an amazing time we had a the lodge. It exceeded our expectations and we are already talking about going back. The location is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing and yet in walking distance of some lovely restaurants and of course the lakes where you can do a range of watersports. We loved sitting out in the hot tub taking in the views, morning, noon, nighttime. We came back so relaxed but also fulfilled with all the family activities we did over the few days we were there. Matt was brilliant with proactive comms, helpful suggestions and nothing too much trouble. Don’t hesitate to book this place!

On the outskirts of Ballycastle, very tastefully renovated Georgian house. Airy, beautiful, modern, well kitted out shared kitchen and communal sitting room with projector at the top. Down a level there was a library nook with games and intriguing books. Down a level are the bedrooms, natural materials and great attention to detail throughout. Super comfy large bed. Clogs to change into at the front door for cleanliness and to soften footsteps on the real wood flooring. We were setting off very early to catch a ferry from Ballycastle to Islay for birdwatching and when we realised just how early, realised we'd have to stay the night before in Ballycastle. Jordan responded within minutes, alleviating last minute stress.

Wish we had longer here. Such a welcoming spot, with plenty of inviting places to seek out a spot for yourself or to gather with new & old friends. Very clean and pretty & well maintained! Comfortable beds, great technology, (loved the lighting)! Amazing kitchen to take advantage of cooking in for meals. Responsive hosts. We loved staying at Lagom!

Really lovely, I would definitely stay again

Amazing place, would highly recommend. The out door bath was a lovely touch. Was very clean and tidy. Will definitely love to go back to stay.

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Convenient, comfortable, and a lovely warm welcome from hosts Frances and Colm. Nothing was too much trouble - and the kitchenette with breakfast snacks and drinks was a bonus! A lovely stay and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Great place to make your hub for ballycastle and surrounding area

This lodge was perfect for a girly weekend away, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hot tub was a highlight of our stay with such beautiful surroundings, it was perfect. The check in and out was super easy and the lodge was spotless. The welcome goodies were well appreciated along with the local recommendations. Personally, we loved Jacques wine bar in Ruthin would definitely recommend visiting if you're staying in one of these lodges - just a short drive away. Taxi's were also pretty easy to book. Unfortunately, the local pub that is closest to these lodges wouldn't be recommended by us, one of the rudest landlords we've ever encountered (look up reviews - three pigeons inn) so would definitely suggest trying Ruthin town instead. Such a shame as I can imagine these lodges would make a lot of business for the pub. However, couldn't recommend a stay here more - excellent! Thank you :)

Loved our new year stay at Owen's lodge - we stayed for 4 nights with out two young children. The lodge is well equipped, was easy to check in and in a great location. The place was clean and tidy, the rooms are really large and the hot-tub was brilliant. The lodge has everything you need for a decent getaway with loads of things in the local area only a short drive away. Just to note: The WiFi isn't particularly great and there is very little phone signal (at least on the two networks we had). Not a huge issue but as the weather was particularly bad over the new year we probably stayed in the lodge more than we had anticipated and the WiFi wasn't great for streaming TV/Films for the kids.

great host, great location definitely will be booking again

This is probably my favourite place I've stayed in the UK! Emma was incredibly kind and helpful and the whole experience at the caravan was wonderful. The bed is very comfortable and the caravan is fresh, cosy and has everything you need. If you like being out in nature but don't want the full experience of camping this caravan is the best of both worlds, totally secluded and peaceful location (with no other campers nearby) and all the lovely amenities of a home. It felt totally safe, very peaceful and the Hayle beach is very beautiful. Hayle is quieter town, much more down to earth and less touristy than nearby st ives, with some great pubs, cafes and nice places to eat. We didn't drive and everything we needed was walking or bus distance. I hope to come back one day!

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The location is perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings, with easy access to beautiful hikes and local attractions. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious thank you!

Rob and Bernie's are absolutely great couple and provide us a fantastic stay including delicious breakfast.

the cabin was beautiful inside, very comfortable bed and had a fabulous sleep. the hot tub was private, if you sat at the far side, I suggest a gate on the opening for complete privacy as anyone walking past seemed to enjoy a good look!! despite this, we very much enjoyed our very much needed night of relaxation. we had a lovely walk along the canal into Llangollen.

Felt like a real home away from home - lovely decor, comfy beds and cosy living room space. Everything nice and clean. Walking distance to local beach which the kids and dog loved. Only gripe is WiFi not very good but at least it got the kids away from their phones for a while! Would highly recommend
