Amazing stay from start to finish. Checking in was easy and shown right to the pod and shown where everything was, got told about the great things to do around the area. 100% recommend and will defo be coming back Thanks again!

Our family of 3 loved staying in the houseboat. It was a great hideaway in the middle of the city. The boat was even larger than we expected and very comfortable.

Lovely stay at Haven Pod +. Very peaceful, clean and friendly staff on hand. We stayed Friday - Monday. Our son loved seeing the fish in the water. Beautiful beaches just a short drive away. We will definitely be returning as the weekend was chilled and stress free. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

After a pint of local beer on one of the earliest pubs in London, walk yourself to a the pier and board a XIX century clipper full of history and old boats and let yourself go in a night sleep, dreaming of the adventures you might get on a ship like this in a a past maybe not too long ago...the ultimate Thames experience!

The Velvet Morning was a slice of heaven. Sam was an incredible host. Had a great last night of my trip to London here! First, Sam was very flexible with me and allowed me to drop my luggage off early (which was very helpful). I loved meeting her & truly believe she’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met. The boat was amazing - so much character, so charming, and super cozy. During the day, I read a book & journaled on the roof, fed the ducks quartered grapes (which they really enjoyed), ate caviar & oysters at the Summerhouse while watching newborn ducklings in their nest peeking out from under the restaurant (showing the post card of the boat got me a discount), and exploring various walking paths nearby. At night, it was sprinkling & the sound of the rain on the roof was so peaceful - I fell asleep like a baby. Would highly recommend this unique stay & definitely plan on coming back next time I visit! Thank you, Sam!

We had a lovely stay. Convenient spot in easy walking distance of the city centre. And the kids had great fun sleeping on a boat!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay on Water Lodge. A fabulous base for exploring the Isle of Wight. We all slept amazingly well and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay for a family of four. Thank you Yarmouth Harbour!

Quick One – Fantastic. Loved it. Would book again (Weather could not have been better) Longer Version (perhaps for those, like us, whom have not stayed in a Shepherds Hut/this area before) - I found and booked this as was looking for a bit of a break, in isolation, with some nice country around it and a few walks (hopefully to a pub). Jackpot – this was EXACTLY that, and more. The hut is a lovely place to stay. Great location, fantastic places to eat and drink, (some of which are within a relatively easy walking distance (20-40 mins, depending on which way you go)) Hut is not that small. The bed is fantastic – big and comfortable. (My favourite part of the day was waking up early and watching the low morning sun on the fields, sheep, trees and hills beyond, through various windows, from bed…. and I am not usually an early morning person, but this was special). There is quite a lot of attention to detail. It is very well done. Loved the unusual BBQ (want one) and firepit. Thanks E&J

Everything was perfect. Trevor is a great host ,very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The boat is beautifully designed and impressively high tech. Everything was spotlessly clean. There are separate areas for enjoying the fire and sunbathing, and the garden with its flowers is absolutely stunning. The hot tub is high quality and very relaxing. We were truly satisfied with everything and would like to thank Trevor for his hospitality.

This was one of the best stays I have ever experienced! We will never forget this cute canal boat which is both in the heart of London with every convenience at your fingertips, and also wonderfully secluded on the canal in your own private living space. Martin was the best host I can recall, he was more than happy to accomodate our check in and out times, and gave us the full run-down on everything we needed to know about the boat, and was always reachable in case of emergency. We were so comfortable in this boat, which is also a representation of Martin himself, the furniture and fittings are all a reflection of your host. We felt very lucky to be able to have the privilege of staying here, thank you again Martin!

We had a great time on the boat. The area was great and inside everything was easy to find and self explaining. For any question, Hannah was always very fast answering. We will come again.

If you’re looking for a unique getaway with a welcoming host and a gorgeous setting, this is the place for you! From the moment we arrived, Linda, the host, greeted us with a smile and the wonderful surprise of a freshly baked loaf of bread, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. In fact, thoughtful is the watchword here, the houseboat was stocked with everything you could possibly need, the fridge was fully stocked with essentials like milk, butter, jams, infused water, and Linda even had a selection of ice creams for us. The property itself is in a peaceful location, but still close to so many places, for example Hampton Court Palace is within walking distance. It was spotless and wonderfully maintained, the bed was huge and the attention to detail exceptional, even leaving duck feed for us to feed the ducks and Swans that swam up to our door. We didn’t use the Sauna but I highly recommend the Swedish Hot Tub, it made what was already a relaxing experience

Thank you for an unforgettable stay! The property was absolutely perfect – cozy, clean, and full of charm. Waking up to the peaceful water views was such a treat, and every detail made us feel right at home. We loved the unique experience and will definitely recommend it to friends. One of those places where memories are made and life takes on a new richness of experience. The Scorpio is fab, Little Venice is a trove of different eateries and an excellent location! Double bed is super comfy with lovely quilt and linens. The bed in lounge also super comfy and lovely linens. Kitchen has all you need, oven, microwave, hob, fridge, toaster etc. Shower is strong and hot! We had a beautiful pair of friendly ducks visiting, and Chris left a tub of duck biscuits under steps 🤩 2 minute stroll from Warwick Avenue tube, a 15 min scenic walk to Paddington, along the canal banks, and 30 minute easy walk via the streets to Baker Street. Toilet in bathroom is great, and very cool there is a key provided to another well kept toilet a few metres away, in “garden area”. We will definitely rebook. An absolute haven in the centre of London, with birdsong in the morning, fabulous! Thank you Chris, for sharing such an unexpected oasis in the centre of London 👍🤩

Great communication with Kerrie really appreciated the earlier check in to allow us to arrive at a wedding near by. Beautiful location and the weather was better than anticipated which was a bonus especially when we were in the hot tub🙂

We had a great stay here. The water lodge was beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable. The local is stunning.

Lovely and quite very tranquil place spacious clean had everything we needed .lovely cafe on site with great food well stocked shop in village good pub food This was something different staying on a boat I can’t recommend it enough . Definitely would stay there again

All we expected & more. A truly wonderful place to stay. My partner & I were looking for somewhere to stay for a quiet romantic weekend & this was the perfect place! Beautifully tranquil & relaxing setting. We loved the boat & went out onto the lake a couple of times ☺ If anyone wanted to venture out anywhere, we visited Lydford Gorge one day, which was lovely (only a 15min drive). Kyle was an excellent host, very friendly & communicated everything we needed to know.

The water sing definitely did not disappoint! Beautifully decorated and sat upon a gorgeous lake full of lily pads and fish. If you’re looking for a place to switch off that’s peaceful and relaxing I 100% recommend a visit!

We had a great stay at Jane’s place, we were very last minute booking and Jane was very accommodating. The place is beautiful and the view is exceptional. Really comfortable bed and everything we needed in the kitchen too. Would definitely return!

Such a beautiful, unique and peaceful stay. The canal boat is moored onto a private island, surrounded by friendly ducks and stunning greenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as returning guests and would highly recommend if you need to get away from a busy life and have a dose of nature!
