Guesthouse vacation rentals in Edinburgh

A cost and comfortable studio, super comfy bed in a very quiet location. Pristine bathroom and very hot shower. Train station is mins walk but never heard a train passing, easy commute to Edinburgh / Glasgow. The town is wonderful, plenty of bars and restaurants and a beautiful loch to walk around and castle to investigate. Great value trip would certainly visit again. Also, excellent communication with Joanne, including directions and local knowledge. Cheers.

Really comfortable and lovely stay for a fantastic price.

The room was tidy and furnished with antiques. A very tastefully Victorian house with all modern facilities. We had only time for one night, it would be a place for a longer stay. The house is central to the Downtown of Dumfernline and a good place for visiting Edinburgh. The Host Michael is very friendly and had a lot of tips for visiting the town. Perfect!

Thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay in The Wee Glasshouse. Fantastic view of the Forth Bridge and an ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. Alan was friendly and communicative whilst respecting our privacy. We would definitely stay here if we were ever in the area again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Lovely room! The pictures don’t do it justice, it was spotlessly clean and we received breakfast bags each morning! The host was very thoughtful and we had everything we could need! The location was perfect, and being able to leave our bags after checkout was very useful. Check in was easy and straight forward, would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely trip!

The room was even better than I expected! I had a room on the second floor looking to the back of the house and I didn't hear a thing from outside of from my neighbor! Louise was very kind and even carried my heavy luggage upstairs. She also let me check in early. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and spotless space in a lovely area, and easy to get into the town centre (in the car - not sure how long it would take on foot). Would definitely return.

The place is really cool. Len was communicative and helpful and he's done a fabulous job with renovating the place. We found some nice things to do locally although would certainly arrive with some sort of transport be that bicycle or car (or both) as Stow has a lovely but limited selection of activities and restaurants. We had a really great time, thank you!!

We had a lovely stay thank you! It was so nice to spend some time in the fresh air with all the animals, and thank you for introducing us to some of the horses ! The family dogs are the sweetest and would love to play fetch on a walk around the property if you’re game. We even had a last minute addition of two more ppl to our reservation when their accoms fell through and our host allowed us to edit and add them last minute. We were able to throw in some quick laundry, relax a little, and head out to our next wedding refreshed. Thanks for everything !

What a beautiful cottage and a lovely quiet location. We were provided with everything we needed for a lovely relaxing few days. Hosts were great and welcomed us in. We were visiting family with my daughter and grandson but would love to return for a longer stay when we could enjoy the surrounding countryside more.

Great spot. Comfortable bedding. Glad there was a couch and kitchen as well. Booked last minute as we had another of their units boiked for following night. Wish we could have had this unit for both as it was perfect!

simple place, but good value for the price

The Hayloft is a really wonderful place to spent your vacations! The apartment has the perfect size for two people and still feels very roomy. We enjoyed cooking and watching TV in the evenings, as well as going for trips in the near and far surroundings (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ben Cruachan, Loch Lomond etc.). For light sleepers it might be a problem, that the fridge can get quite loud and that the windows can‘t be shuttered to 100% darkness, but that is nothing some ear plugs and a sleeping mask can‘t handle — if we could, we would have stayed even longer!

That was very nice place for me to stay , I have been here for two weeks, I love this place very much which is spaceful, tidy, organized. Marilyn keep the kitchen very clean , there are variety of cooking essential that you can use , such as oven, pan, toaster, micro wave,fast oven and so on. I stayed in the six people room, the room is clean and mattress is very comfortable. James is very friendly gentleman, he help me store my luggage when I checked out. Furthermore, you can make some friends in here, definitely I will come back when I visit Edinburgh.

I had a fantastic stay at Leo's place in Edinburgh! From the moment I arrived, Leo was incredibly welcoming and helpful, he took the time to show me around the house and explain how everything worked, which made settling in super easy. The property itself is modern, bright, and beautifully maintained. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, which made the space feel really comfortable and inviting. One of the highlights was the location—set up in the hills and surrounded by nature and farms, it was the perfect peaceful retreat while still being within reach of the city. I had an amazing time staying at this cozy garden accommodation in Edinburgh. The space was incredibly comfortable and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. One highlight for me was being able to set up my bike in the beautiful garden. Jessica is a fantastic host – she’s so friendly and always ready to help. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. Her warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend this place more and would definitely come back anytime I visit Edinburgh again. Thank you, Jessica, for making my trip so special!
