The Yurt is an extraordinary refuge from the frenzy of the city. Securely set high (7600ft) among mountains, the views stretch out in all directions backing up to the Cibola National Forest. Elk, deer, coyotes, and many birds share their land with us. The dark night sky is breathtaking. The yurt is off-the-grid lit by soft oil lamps after sunset. We also laid a seven-circuit labyrinth for meditative walking. A hot tub is available up at the house. You are welcome to this place of peace.

Winter Glamping Yurt w Mtn Views
Escape to the wilderness of Colorado in our secluded offgrid glamping yurt, nestled on 35 acres, a quick 20 minute drive from Durango. Revel in rustic charm, complete with a gas stove, fridge, queen bed, pull-out couch, & wood burning stove for heat. Step onto the spacious deck to admire panoramic views, BBQ on the propane grill or cozy up to the firepit& take in the vast night sky. Adjacent bath house provides a composting toilet. NO RUNNING WATER OR SHOWER. Water jugs provided. AWD required.

Horses and resident deer often wander by. Coyotes sing at night. 2 miles from historic Mancos where artists, ranchers and outdoor enthusiasts gather. Look for solitude or adventure in the nearby San Juan NF or Red Rock Desert Canyons. 6 miles to Mesa Verde National Park's entrance. Glamping at its best. Dogs allowed with fee.

Little John Hike-in 16-foot Camping Yurt
PLEASE read all information about the yurt before booking. Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 1.25-mile hike (or bike) to the Little John Yurt (no driving). This is (upscale) CAMPING, not a hotel room. A wood stove provides heat, there is no electricity, running water, or room/maid service. Because of COVID-19, we provide fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Bring a sleeping bag or comforter for cold temperatures.

Navajo Yurt~ Mesa Verde Views on Campground
Our traditional Navajo Hogan offers a unique experience. Only 5 miles from downtown Cortez. Showers & kitchen are seasonal from April - October. It has a porta-potty, pump sink & portable battery inside. It comes with a queen size bed with full linens, and two towels. There is a wood stove is inside for heat and boiling water. This is located on a private campground. Please see photos. Extra linens are available for rental onsite. Price includes 2 guests, $10 each after, up to 6 total.

Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a propane bbq grill, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good. The yurt has a solar power system to charge your devices. The yurt is heated. Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed.
