Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Durango

Meghan was very responsive and helpful! She checked in on us to see how our stay was. You can hear the neighbors in the adjoining house but it wasn’t a big deal for us. The house was beautiful and the hot tub was great to come back to after a long day adventuring. It is not far from the hot springs or downtown. I would definitely come back! We had an amazing stay!

Our family of four truly enjoyed our time at Joe’s place. We could not have asked for a better place to come back to after a day of skiing. The house had absolutely everything that we needed, was clean, and very comfortable.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den. It is everything we usually look for in a place to stay. Beautiful location. CLEAN. Well maintained. And allowed our pups to stay with us. It was a little small for the 6 of us....but overall worked out well. The back deck was my favorite and we enjoyed eating and relaxing on the deck. The nearby lake was really fun to take a rental boat and explore. We also visited Mesa Verde and took the grandchildren on the Durango Silverton train. We would highly recommend Bear's Den. Beautiful cabin, fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay. My wife and I enjoyed the peaceful surrounds, and loved seeing all the wildlife around while we soaked in the hot tub. Thank you for opening your home to us, we had a fantastic stay.

What an excellent find! We had our pups with us and they enjoyed roaming and playing on the 3 acres of fenced in property. We saw deer, jack rabbits, and a skunk during our stay. It was peaceful. There are nice touches that make you feel at home all around like live plants and flowers. We relaxed in the hot tub, drank coffee in the mornings on the patio. We brought my parents and brother and sister-in-law with us and never felt cramped, there is plenty of room. The general area was 5 star as well. If we are ever back in Durango, we plan to come back! Melissa was an exceptional host, she was friendly and quick to respond.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It's a dog-friendly place that makes it easy to manage pets while relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Durango for convenience, comfort, and cleanliness. My wife got up early every morning, made coffee, and sat outside at the patio table reading. We hope to rent this place again soon when visiting our daughter who lives nearby.

Wonderful cottage! Very spacious, beautiful location, super well-equipped. Lana was very responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay. This is what an AirBnB should be like. Very highly recommend!

Beautiful spot close to Cortez but feels remote and has incredible views of Mesa Verde. Cozy and comfortable space.

My family had an amazing time staying at Lisa's Casa Durango. The house was just as accurate is not better than the photos and description. All the beds were comfy and the kids were very happy with the daybed and trundle. Having a pack n play available for us to use for our 11mo was wonderful! We loved eating out on the deck and hanging out on the hammock. The kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much anything you could want to use including a blender which helped for banana milkshakes on our last night! It's very walkable being only a block from Main Street but somehow still quiet in the house which was fantastic. I'm glad Lisa recommended riding the trolley because that was definitely a highlight for our littles. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Second time staying here. Cindy was very good at taking care of any issues that came up. Beautiful views, peaceful and private. Not far from town.

I loved the beautiful location of the home and the easy check-in. Karin & Matthew are wonderful hosts and responded quickly to questions I had. I would definitely recommend this home. You won’t be disappointed.

The gorgeous views around this beautiful home were such a treat. The quietude and fireplace were a delight! The rooms were wonderful. There isn’t heat in the upstairs rooms but the bedding kept us warm!

Christie, the neighborhood, location outside Durango/Bayfield and the cabin itself were all amazing! The back porch is, miraculously, even better than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen is well appointed, there is plenty of room to spread 4 adults and 2 kids. The wildlife is stunning & close (we saw a few dozen deer and about 20 turkeys in the yard alone. What a relaxing place to spend a weekend.

Cozy spot in the heart of Silverton. Fantastic views! Great kitchen and large dining table for cards. With a group of 6 - an extra bathroom would have been ideal but great spot!

Angie was very responsive to our questions regarding check in/check out. The cabin was super tiny but comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay! We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days with our 13 month old! It was chilly at night but we never needed the space heater available. We saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed going into Durango for the day to do fun activities. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

The home was beautiful and worked so well for our group of 8. We had 3 families and all felt like we each had enough space. The kitchen had seasonings, foil, plastic wrap, baggies - all SO helpful when coming in to cook the first night (and stores were already closed). We appreciated those extras so much. Blankets were cozy, rooms were nice, games available for us to play - hosts were responsive and helpful! It was fun being there the weekend of the bike race that came right in front of the house! Awesome to have amenities at Purgatory available for us if we wanted to use them. BEAUTIFUL area! Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great stay in cabin #3 and only regret is that we didnt stay longer. Angie is a great host and will definitely rent from her again. The cabin was exactly as described and Angie did a great job communicating before and during our stay. The cabin was equipped with most things we needed and Angie told us ahead of time what to expect and packing tips. There is a general store and a couple restaurants just a couple miles away, if you dont want to drive into the town of Bayfield or Durango. Tons of wildlife in the area....I suggest planning to arrive before dark as the area is VERY dark at night and roads arent fun to navigate in the dark, while also watching out for wildlife, which we saw many of near/in the road.

The communication and accommodations from the co-host Monica were outstanding.! The condo was very clean and well furnished. The location is great, very close to Main street! The neighbors were very friendly and have a super friendly dog named Duke. If you’re looking for a good place to stay near downtown Durango this is a great choice.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful mountain getaway. Great deck to eat meals outside and enjoy a fire among the trees and local marmots running around.

Clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is private, safe, and very close to the resort. Sleeping accommodations adequate for our group of 12. The kids liked the bunkers, football, and games downstairs. The hot tub was clean and functioned well. Overall great stay in a nice place for a good price.

We had a great stay in the Purgatory Condo. We were close to the mountain and the Shuttle Service was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable surroundings after long days on the slopes.

We stayed for 5 nights and there is a lot to do in the vicinity and the grounds. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the pools. The host was friendly, thorough and helpful. All four of us would recommend this place!
