Enjoy all the beautiful views and hiking trails the valley has to offer and then check out the charm and amazing dining of downtown Durango. This 270 square foot tiny house is very comfortable, and although it is similar to a studio, it is set up with a full size kitchen and bathroom, as well as a full size bed on the main floor, so you can feel at home. This cabin was built in 1952 and recently restored. Premiere mountain biking and hiking are two blocks away at Horse Gulch Trail System. The cabin is on a quiet street nine blocks from downtown Durango shopping and dining . The stainless steel kitchen is designed around a commercial Wolf Stove. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, spices, olive oil, and coffee provided. The bed is a standard double, not a queen, so it may be a bit cramped sleeping if you need a longer bed. Drawers are beneath.

We have been told it is of the most beautiful locations in Colorado! 15 minutes to downtown Durango, 20 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort, and 5 minutes to the Hot Springs & a shopping plaza, and 40 minutes to the airport. There is a cafe/gas station/liquor store across the road. We also have another airbnb here with a spa deck!

Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a Labrador Retriever that lives on this property but is not allowed in the guest suite.
