Cabin vacation rentals in Durango

Beautiful view of the lake. It was very peaceful. Place had lots of cups and utensils and cooking pans. Also had lots of cooking oil and butter and spices for cooking. Even had a grill to use. Hot tub was perfect. Place had no ac but like the instructions mentioned to leave a window open and it keeps the house cool. Upstairs had a fan. Also had washer and dryer which came in handy. A dog door, dog bowls and dog bed. It was dog loving cabin. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Great times at a truly wonderful magical place loved it and recommend it highly. We are going back in 2 years! Thanks guys for this amazing cabin! The views are spectacular

Our family had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the cozy home, & the sounds of the Delores River. It was just the rest we needed between our hikes & busy vacation fun!

This cabin was the perfect winter getaway! Located just a short drive from Purgatory Ski Resort, it’s nestled in a peaceful, secluded setting surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of snow. The cozy cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the serene atmosphere made it feel like a true escape. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to the slopes!

Our family of four truly enjoyed our time at Joe’s place. We could not have asked for a better place to come back to after a day of skiing. The house had absolutely everything that we needed, was clean, and very comfortable.

This property was exactly what we were hoping for and more. Beautiful, remote and quiet log cabin located high on hill with great views. It is decorated with wonderful Native American art throughout…such a peaceful feeling. Hot tub, several large decks and BBQ area were amazing. Kitchen area was well equipped and made dining in enjoyable. Plenty of room inside and outside for privacy with group of 6 adults. Deer all over property and night sky was awesome..no light pollution. Lori and Rob are first class hosts and responded immediately with any questions. Very flexible and caring people. Angie was very responsive to our questions regarding check in/check out. The cabin was super tiny but comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay! We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days with our 13 month old! It was chilly at night but we never needed the space heater available. We saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed going into Durango for the day to do fun activities. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

The cabin was exactly as described. All of the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for a family of 5. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly be need. The RV park had a pool and 2 hot tubs. My kids enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking. Be careful when pulling into the RV park at night, the entrance isn't lit super great.

We had a great stay in cabin #3 and only regret is that we didnt stay longer. Angie is a great host and will definitely rent from her again. The cabin was exactly as described and Angie did a great job communicating before and during our stay. The cabin was equipped with most things we needed and Angie told us ahead of time what to expect and packing tips. There is a general store and a couple restaurants just a couple miles away, if you dont want to drive into the town of Bayfield or Durango. Tons of wildlife in the area....I suggest planning to arrive before dark as the area is VERY dark at night and roads arent fun to navigate in the dark, while also watching out for wildlife, which we saw many of near/in the road.

Great cabin. Bedrooms were very small any cozy, very hard to move around in them and get ready. Everything was as described. Nice view from living room and dining room!

The host is very responsive, even when I asked about non related things such as the weather since we where traveling under winter advisory. Very friendly and even had a day for the kids to come and take a picture with Santa! The cabin is located in a beautiful place close enough to Durango and Bayfield, yet still secluded enough into the woods. Will 100% be back in the future possibly in the summer this time!

Absolutely lovely place! It was close to the lake and marina. The cabin was fresh, clean, and cozy. Can't wait to come back next year! The fire pit was wonderful. Also the chickens hanging out in the yard in the morning/evening was very nice as well!

Great place to stay. Pictures don't do it justice. You must take your own toiletries, coffee (drip coffeemaker) and paper towels. We had to scrounge around for some paper towels. Views were amazing. Within walking distance to the marina if you plan on doing any water activities. Will stay here again.

What a great cabin. Room for our family of 4 to spread out both inside and outside. Beds are comfy and you can't be the sound of Vallecito lapping in the distance. Would stay here again.

This is a very rustic gem away from everything, I absolutely loved how peaceful and quiet it was and I’ve never seen so many stars at night in my life! Elena was incredibly friendly and the hospitality was phenomenal!

This is a wonderful oasis in our busy busy world. Anne was super responsive and provided loads of good advice for area things to do. We hope to return in winter or fall as there is so much to see and do... yet could see ourselves simply relaxing in the cabin.

The cabin was clean and arranged well. The host Debby was quick to respond and very friendly. We stayed 2 days and enjoyed a peaceful stay.

My husband and I had so much fun last year at Amy's place, we had to come back! We love winter activities, so if you are looking for a private little getaway to do some hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or XC skiing, this is the place for you! I also love that this little cabin, although remote, has all the amenities you need to be comfortable just as if you were home. I have a very demanding job which requires me to work even on vacation, so I really appreciated the fast and reliable WiFi so I could check email and stay plugged in. The furnished kitchen came with all the necessary cooking essentials and appliances to make our trip easy. All we had to bring was a cooler of food. The cabin even comes furnished with a TV, washer and dryer, so you can pack light! Amy has always done a great job communicating with us and has been so helpful keeping us apprised of the snow report leading up to our trip. This is a must-visit location! We'll be coming back!

Great place! The view is even better than the pics. Loved sitting on porch in cool temps (50s in August!) and taking in the view of the lake, mountains, and cows. Loved the remoteness. Slight hiccup with internet after a storm, but it was fixed next day. (Only worth mentioning because without internet we didn’t have access to our itineraries, reservations, or maps - so future guests may want to have all this stuff downloaded ahead of time.) Sean was responsive and easy to work with - great host, great place. We look forward to returning!

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we came back. Cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - it makes me want a wood burning stove at home too.

An absolutely amazing place. I loved the privacy. I was able to take my SUP to the lake and had it mostly to myself. Place was spotless and many bedrooms which were not pictured. Nice and close to Meas Verda. The view of the lake from upstairs was breathtaking. I would love to come again.

We had great time in Colorado and we (2 adults and 3 kids) liked our place we stayed. Originally we planned to stay in Durango but decided to have a place away from busy town. It was peaceful. A little too far for daily driving but we got a chance to look at beautiful surroundings. Ryan and Kathleen are very helpful and communications were great. We enquired about Christmas tree and when we arrived there was one up and decorated! We would recommend and we would come back:)
