We are on the unspoilt Roseland Peninsula, surrounded by fields and with sea views across to dramatic Dodman Point, the highest headland on the south coast of Cornwall. Ideal for walkers, we are less than a mile from the South West Coast Path. Although very rural, we are within walking distance of two pubs, the New Inn at Veryan and The Ship at Portloe. The village shop & post office are at Veryan for your added convenience.

Laid Back Living in Dreckly, a Unique Experience

If you are animal lovers, come and have cuddles with all our free-range pets. We have super friendly sheep, pygmy goats, cats, dogs, chickens & ducks that will come and say hi during your stay. We are only 2 miles off the A30 so easy to reach all those hidden gems & St Ives is only 30 mins away! If you prefer public transport, we have a bus stop near so you can enjoy taking in the Cornish scenery. The local village of St Day is only a 10 minute walk away and includes 2 general stores & 2 pubs.

Close to beautiful beaches, the SW Coast Path and only a few minutes drive from Tintagel Village. Get away from it all, going back to basics but with a few luxuries such as an ensuite bathroom (shower), 100% cotton bedding and kitchenette. Our idyllic shepherd’s hut is perfect for a quiet holiday. We’re off the beaten track, in a small hamlet, with nearby large farm shop/restaurant. We're just a ten minute drive to the long, sandy beach at Gwithian in St Ives bay. The hut is at the end of our big garden, overlooking fields and has its own outside eating area and fire pit/bbq. There’s a wood stove inside for cosy evenings. This is also a good place to work - quiet and with a table by the window, with views across fields.
