The Nook

This location really is as good as it gets! Guests can also borrow the Kayak’s for an evening paddle round the island. At the end of a private lane, you will find your own large and private parking area and enclosed garden. Newquay Centre is a pleasant fifteen minute stroll and Porth about seven minutes away.

With private parking for 3 cars, it is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends. We are always on hand to give you any help or information you may need. Your own transport is recommended.

The Garden Lodge is situated in the grounds of Mourton House, in the Cornish countryside village of St Mawgan. The lodge has recently been updated with a new kitchen and bathroom. It is located in a beautiful tranquil position a 2 mile well worn wooded footpath takes about 35 minutes to walk to Mawgan Porth beach. The delightful harbour town of Padstow is 8.4 miles distance, with its quaint shops a plenty of places to eat. Newquay is 6.2 miles from the Lodge.
