Kick back, relax & unwind in this peaceful oasis, nestled in 15 acres with its own lake, in the heart of wine region. Mûrier Cottage is tastefully decorated & furnished, has 3 bedrooms to accommodate 6 guests comfortably, has its own private entrance through the walled courtyard. In the grounds is a large salt water swimming pool & terrace.

Our place is situated inland, yet close to the Côte Sauvage on the Atlantic coast of France. It is ideal for those who live and breathe nature and like places a little off the beaten track. From the thick pine forests that open into the arms of golden sandy beaches and the welcoming waves from the Atlantic Ocean. This area offers everything for an ideal summer vacation. Foodies' will be spoilt for choice with the weekly local fresh food markets, in Breuillet and other nearby villages.

Sept Fonts is a magical place where you can cut off from the world. Set on 3 acres, with lakes and vestiges of a 16thC priory. You take a walk or bike ride, swim in the huge pool, chill in the jacuzzi, create a family barbecue, stargaze.. The place is steeped in history- King Louis 13th slept here in 1631. The house has large rooms with plenty outside areas for relaxing. The town of Aulnay is 2km with supermarket, restaurants etc 2 markets a week. We now have fibre internet.

Situated in a quaint rural village, surrounded by sunflower fields it is an ideal venue to relax, explore the French markets, visit the region. Close by are Cognac, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré., Marais Poitevin, Niort and Poitiers.Bordeaux & the Loire are a couple of hours by car; and Paris 2 hrs by TGV.

The Weekend Getaway.

Enjoy views from the terrace. We offer a quiet place to relax for a few days with wine tasting if you are interested. Bedroom 1 has "a grand largeur" bed, 2 single beds side by side. June 2025 Bedroom 2 has a 140 cm wide double bed. Guests can use the brick wood fired bbq entertaining area that also offers great views.

The house is very sunny thanks to its orientation and very cosy with a chimney for the winter and a lovely terrace for the summer. It's an old house redone with its ancient stones . It is furnished with antiques that bring a very nice atmosphere.
