Large and beautiful Charentaise house with swimming pool and barbecue with many advantages, games room, 5 spacious bedrooms, pleasant living room for 12 people. Secure outdoor parking for 3 vehicles.

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

Quiet stay in the countryside with the sound of the river as background music. Ideal for large group stays. The house is spacious, very well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. There is nothing missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe discovery of the environment for all ages.

Great hospitality from our host, with his nice smile. Mélanie is responsive, available and gave us some great tips on restaurants and activities to discover on the island. The accommodation is close to the city center, with its covered market, where you can buy fresh produce, close to a supermarket, colorful fishermen's huts, the citadel... The accommodation is very clean, well arranged, tastefully decorated, well equipped and air-conditioned. The bedding is extremely good. We have stayed several times on the island, which we love very much. We'll be happy to come back to Mélanie and Nicolas's.

There are homes that we love and forget, but at Janick's, it's different, we love, we adore, we appreciate the home, and above all, we don't forget it. The hosting was very warm. The house is extraordinary; it is very well arranged for people with reduced mobility. We were superbly welcomed. Everything was perfect. Janick gave us some great recommendations for visits and restaurants. We highly recommend this host. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to both of you.

We had a lovely stay at Bernadette's. She is very welcoming and available if we have a problem or question. Her place is very nice especially when you have a dog 🐕(the garden is fenced and secure). No parking worries, you can park inside. We highly recommend her accommodation if you pass by the area!

⭐ Exceptional! We had an absolutely perfect stay at this B&B. The welcome was warm from the moment we arrived, the hosts are lovely, caring and always available. The room was impeccable: clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and the bed was unusually comfortable. The setting is quiet, relaxing, ideal for recharging your batteries. A place that we recommend without a second thought, and where we will come back without hesitation!

We had a great stay at Donna and Chris's. They are always approachable and respond quickly and adequately if something does come up. The accommodation we had was a very nice and spacious house, with large kitchen, living room, bathroom and 2 large bedrooms. The pool is clean and nice. The accommodation is in a beautiful region, big cities and beautiful sights all < 1 hour drive. Less than 10 minutes' drive away are large supermarkets, and there are excellent restaurants in the area and region. We felt completely at home here and had a wonderful vacation. If you get the chance to book this accommodation I would!

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

The house is absolutely as advertised. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoking room). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

We had a dream weekend with friends (5 people) in this beautiful house in absolute quiet in the middle of the vineyards and very well-equipped, very much above the average of rentals that stick to the bare essentials. Note the very good welcome from Lucy whose briefing is complete. A real favorite that we recommend.

The location of the accommodation is exceptional and offers a superb terrace with direct views of the beach, with La Rochelle, Ile de Ré and Fort Boyard in the distance. The accommodation is nice and functional.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it is a wonderful place and a beautiful location. Our just (Fabrice) was extremely helpful and friendly.

Jenifer's accommodation has been tastefully renovated. The amenities are as qualitative and numerous as a main house: hair dryer, washing machine, oven, kettle, in short everything is there. you can access the beach in 2 minutes by bike, 5 minutes on foot, happiness.

We loved our stay at David and Jerome’s place!! They were both extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. The property is beautiful and peaceful, whether having your morning coffee in the garden, an afternoon swim in the pool or an evening hot tub. Would highly recommend to all future guests!
