Castle vacation rentals in Charente-Maritime

Another great, but quick visit to Champdolent. The chateau is starting to feel like our second home in Charentes. Thanks Dominque and Line.

A big thank you to Pascal and Véronique for their warm welcome, and for the welcome cocktail on our arrival! The place is totally in line with the photos: well-appointed and ideal for a group stay. Communication prior to booking was excellent, with smooth exchanges and valuable tips on things to do around Manoir Lacustre (although we didn't have time to explore the area this time). We were 19 people to celebrate my 30th birthday, and the place was perfect: the interior spaces, the rooms and the exteriors are designed to accommodate a large group. Only one small downside: the proximity of the neighbors requires you to turn off the music outside quite early, which we had not anticipated. I would recommend the place!

The tower is such a special place, truly memorable - like nowhere we’ve ever stayed before. Beautiful views - the best in St Martin - with unique architecture and a peaceful garden that made us feel we were in the countryside despite being in the heart of the town. And Alain was a great host, friendly and welcoming - and with an amazing atelier! We hope we can return very soon.

Exceptional location with space for multiple families. Do something from the outside. We had a great time at the expansive facility. The housekeepers were very communicative and attentive. The interior is of course a bit bieder to the location but not without charm. The kitchen equipment can't keep up with the otherwise great facility. The bedrooms are exceptionally beautiful, the bedrooms have been placed on it, and it shows it. Beds were very comfortable. Overall a great experience.

The house is beautiful, the park is nice and the hosts are welcoming. Everything is together for a lovely stay at this place.

Yes, a stay in a castle room, that's formidable. Sebastian and his wife have beautifully decorated all the spaces, including the garden. A nice dinner in the garden, was very nice. Thank you both. Greetings Theo and Anneke

We spent a very pleasant week in this quiet place, with lots of space (park with forest). The gite, in its juice, is well furnished. The old stone keeps the coolness in summer and that's appreciated. Meal in the garden possible. Many tourist information available to discover the region (very beautiful). Good welcome from Christian and Viviane. Discreet but available if you need anything else. Small plus: a superb gourmet basket offered upon arrival which allowed us to discover the producers of the region! We would recommend it in a second.

The most beautiful chateaux, lovely grounds, very tranquil, everything we needed. We felt very privileged to stay in David’s beautiful home. David was an amazing host, superb recommendations, thank you so much

We had the opportunity to stay for New Year's Eve. Sandra recommended good restaurants nearby. And we were even able to attend a firework display in the castle park. Very nice spacious area. We were also treated to a guided tour by Sandra's dad, a passionate person! Excellent bedding. Nice little breakfast in the vaulted room. Everything was perfect :) We recommend the place.

Perfectly kept cottage, quiet and independent location, access to a superb swimming pool in a charming estate, we had a very pleasant stay in Véronique and her husband's cottage. Both were very kind, I would recommend it!

We just want to say A huge thank you to Veronique and Emmanuel for letting us stay at their Beutiful Gite. We stayed for two weeks and we had the best time! It was so peaceful and our children absolutely loved their gorgeous gardens and pool! Gite was so tidy and clean when we arrived - we relaxed straight into our holiday! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
