Very welcoming host, and very accommodating regarding the check-in time. Really good place to stay with friends. The large garden and pool are really a plus, especially when the weather is good. We thank Fabien and her family.

Great value, the location is great (close to a supermarket 5 min drive, close to Royan and Saintes), this house will take you away from the city. Beware of having 1 bathroom for 10 people (but we know this from the reservation) Otherwise, really in line with expectations, I recommend it!

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Charming house, very atypical! Corinne was welcoming and attentive. We were lucky to have good weather, and were able to enjoy the terrace (smaller indoor space for meals). The four bedrooms are very spacious.

An unforgettable stay at the Manoir Souché, We had an absolutely magical time, the setting is exceptional, perfect for unwinding. Between the sauna, the jacuzzi, the pool and the games for children, everything is designed for relaxation and fun, both for adults and children! The hosts were adorable, available, and caring. You can feel that they put their heart into providing a great experience. No downsides to report. We'll be happy to go back!

Small peaceful haven after a busy day of walking. Booking made only for one night, we appreciated the cleanliness of the very functional and nicely decorated accommodation. Florence is responsive and pleasant... thank you for the advice provided for our arrival! 😉 We would recommend it without hesitation.

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

Elisabeth was very welcoming. The cottage is carefully furnished and equipped, everything is practical, accessible and charming. The towels are fluffy and the quilts are gorgeous. The garden is conducive to cooing, foraging, and hide-and-seek. The surroundings offer beautiful possibilities for bike rides, boat rides... in the heart of the Poitevin marsh. A very nice stay, in ideal conditions, from which you leave refreshed and invigorated!

Great stay at Sandrine. The house is very nice and well equipped. It is located on a quiet street with the beach a few minutes away by bike. We'll be happy to go back!

A fisherman's hut renovated with great taste with a large terrace facing the river where you can eat to the sound of birdsong. Very well furnished where nothing is lacking. A true haven of peace. Congratulations to David and Audrey for this beautiful restoration, it's a success, ideally located for beautiful walks and the unmissable boat ride with a guide who allowed us to learn a little more about the Poitevin marsh as well as the visits to the surroundings that are not lacking. Something to enjoy throughout your stay.

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. I would recommend Stéphanie's home, it's cozy and the cleanliness is impeccable. It has everything you need and the environment is quiet. Stéphanie and her daughter told me well and were very responsive and friendly. Ideal for a weekend away as a couple and in addition, pets are allowed 😊

Sylvie and Luc are a lovely really welcoming couple. Their tiny home was well designed and perfect for our stay in Saintes. It is well located to Saintes and the surrounding countryside.The setting was absolutely lovely and very relaxing ,...with two delightfull black sheep!.... we hope to return. The fresh flowers were much appreciated and we definitely recommend.

2nd time we rented this stay. Very nice place. at the end of September / beginning of October, it is very quiet in the village, a lot closed, but still some shops and restaurants are still open. But the waves stay for nice surfing!

Very nice and spacious accommodation, with a swimming pool that we enjoyed throughout the stay. Very quiet environment, suitable for family stays and close to a few pleasant seaside resorts (about 20 minutes by car). The concierge has always been available and responsive to our messages. Only downside: a very weak mobile network (for 4G) and wifi too limited for the 8 people the house can accommodate (especially with teenagers😊). Apart from that, we recommend Jean-Christophe's house.

Welcoming, comfortable and quiet place. Close to all the tourist areas of the surroundings, Royan, St Georges, Merschers, Marennes and this train des mouettes that leaves from Saujon and goes to La Tremblade. We recommend it in a second.
