Lake house vacation rentals in Central Florida

When we first walked in, the smell of the barnyard wood was so nice. The house was clutter free and they left a cute welcome sign for our family on the refrigerator. The kids (and admittedly us parents too 😃 ) loved the game room. We spent hours playing against each other. The bonus was when we went to bed and found out the bed was one of those electronic adjustable beds! The layout was perfect for our family. Our oldest son got to be in his own room while parents took the room connected to the one with bunkbeds for our younger son. We had privacy but were close enough to our little one for any night time needs. Thanks again for your hospitality, we will be wanting to book again in the future for sure!

Second time renting from Luke, will hopefully do it again next year

Susan’s place was great, really peaceful, we had canoes and barbecues and a place called the freezer just down the road, a short bike ride away, ice cream bar everyone in in area is super friendly, we’d totally recommend it to anyone. A great place to stay.

We spend 4 beautiful days at The Founders Lodge for our friend’s birthday. Tee met us out front and personally gave us a tour of the house. The 2 full master suites are gorgeous! The house is absolutely beautiful with enough room to rest & relax and it was so very clean and comfortable. The wood additions to the house made it so very cozy, that we hope to come back to next year! The pool was just what we needed for the Florida summer days. We grilled out 1 night on the gas grill that was provided by the pool. We ate at The Cove Restaurant for dinner the first night and our meals were very delicious. 3 out of the 4 of us took the Airboat tour and marked it off of our bucket list! How much fun, you have to do it!! We thank Tee for her kindness and even brought my Amazon delivery to our door, what service!!! Thank you :)

We thought our holiday weekend in FL was ruined due to another AirBnb not being what we were expecting and had to abruptly leave but still had two days in FL. Host responded very fast and friendly, answered all my questions. The house was absolutely what we were looking for, stuff for kids and adults and right across from clubhouse and water park.

What a lovely home this is. Very thoughtfully done and beautiful setting. Our contact person Gabriel was very very responsive. There were three couples staying here together and there was plenty of room to enjoy visiting or alone time.

Laura was great, very responsive to our messages and dealt with everything promptly. The villa was lovely, really clean and well presented, just as expected from the photos. We had quiet of bugs in the master bath tub, Laura assured us this is due to the season and being by the lake however, very quickly organised someone to come out and spray them the next morning and we had no more bugs the rest of our 2 weeks stay!! The pool was lovely, the kids absolutely loved it. There were already inflatables there for the pool which was a lovely touch. The only downside was the distance from the villa to Disney and universal. On average, it would take 45 minutes to get to Disney factoring in traffic. To get home late at night we would average 35 minutes with light to little traffic. Universal was averaging 1 hour to get there in the morning and about 45 minutes home at night. This meant we couldn’t “pop back to the pool” in the afternoon heat as would take 1.5-2hours of the afternoon.

Will definitely be back! Loved spending time with my family on the Rainbow river. Ate dinner together with a beautiful view at a beautiful big wood table and then made smores at the fire pit. Great Memories were made.

The host staff was excellent- very responsive and informative! The property was very private, clean, and comfortable. The host provided every basic amenity needed - coffee, coffee filters, silverware, cooking utensils, pots & pans, etc. There was plenty of toilet paper & paper towels, regular towels, & beach towels. There are also most of the toys you’ll want to- fishing gear, pool toys, & swim gear. We enjoyed our stay!

The place is everything that we expected and more. It was like a resort. Everyone had a great time.

Loved the pirate themed inside and outside is a great setting to start your weeki wachee adventures. Plenty of kayaks and paddles, activities, and made use of the outside grill. Had an excellent time and hoping to stay here again sometime! Definitely worth a trip.

Really enjoyed our stay! Backyard really was an oasis. Had a lot of fun playing pickleball and basketball and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Home was clean and they had everything we needed and things we didn't think of (e.g. skewers for making s'mores in the fire pit, beach chairs) Appreciated the responsiveness in communication and from hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is located on a very lushly landscaped property. The long dock calls you out to it. The bedrooms were bigger than we expected. Perfect place to rent a boat, fish. and spend time outdoors with family.

Lovely villa. Very private with beautiful conservation area and lake at the back. Cristian was great to deal with. Always quick with responses and very helpful.

Stayed at Marciels Air B&B for my daughter and niece last allstar cheer competitions at the Marriott. He was welcoming especially with me booking last minute lol. It was enough space for all of us including my dog. The pool area and game room was an amazing touch to the home. There was a small ant problem coming from where the grill is into the pool area which we pretty much cleaned it out before getting in. The house is in a good location, lowkey but still in a busy area. I went to my first 711 in years because it was close by. I haven’t been to a 711 since I moved from Cali to Alabama. Will book this home again in the near future.

This is our second time grabbing a place from Denise and always can’t wait to come back the next trip! She hits it right on the money every time!!! Can’t beat it

Great little spot on the water if you’re looking for a peaceful weekend. Didn’t catch anything but that’s our luck haha had a great time did see a spotted Gar and even seen a baby gator and one about 4ft long while in the canoe. Would definitely stay again if I came back to the area, clean house and had everything we needed.

Caitlin was incredibly responsive whenever we had a question about anything. The house was incredible, they took so much time and money making all the amenities and details first class. Everything was explained in easy to read pamphlets that described everything. The game room was a big hit, and of course the bbq and pool area, and my family absolutely loved it. Everyone was raving at how nice a place the house was. I highly recommend staying here if you can, I would definitely rent again if we’re ever back in the area.

This is our second stay and it’s the best! Super clean and in perfect condition! Has everything we need for our family vacation going to Disney parks and Universal. Convenient location- safe- clean- touches that make it feel like home! We have kiddos who need extra breaks and quiet times during our trips and the home has a huge Disney dvd collection and games and a beautiful pool for our breaks! It’s perfect for family trips!

Perfect little lake house. Our kids were entertained for hours with the kayaks, beach toys, playground, board games and zip line. 10/10 recommend.

We had an absolute blast staying at this Airbnb in Orlando! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we felt right at home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels, drinks, and clear instructions for everything in the house. James and Fabiene were the BEST! We 100% will be back, and highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Alejandra’s. She is a great host. She called before checking in to introduce herself. The house was very clean. My daughter and niece enjoyed the game area/movie room. My goddaughter was so amazed by the fun items all around the house. All of the outdoor pool items were what she enjoyed the most. We couldn’t get the kids out of the pool. We left the park early because they wanted to enjoy the pool lol. Overall I would definitely stay again. And I recommend to others as well.

Chris was very responsive with all communication. The listing was just as described. It was spotless and very enjoyable. We hope to return soon!

This place was perfect for our family vacation! We absolutely loved the decor, seriously once we got inside I think we all spent a good 10 min just admiring the place and how gorgeous it looked! The beds were comfy, the location was perfect. No noise or issues. Exactly as described and Alley was so accommodating and helpful and kind! We will absolutely be staying here in the future and look so forward to coming back!
