Vacation rentals with a kayak in Central Florida

This was our second time booking for a family vacation and it was exactly what we wanted!! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful, relaxing environment. The guys loved fishing off the dock. The pool was just what we wanted and the fountain was fixed while we were there thanks to our AMAZING host. Very roomy home and always clean and freshly stocked with towels and linens. If your thinking about staying here I would absolutely recommend doing so. Pet friendly, with a doggy door on the patio. Great place for a girls get away, bachelorette, guys weekend, or a family get away. Host is very responsive to questions and concerns. We will be back!!!

This place is better than the pictures! The place was super clean. It looked like the inside had been newly renovated and it was beautiful. It was bigger than we thought. Having the kayaks was a big plus! We met a few neighbors while kayaking and they were super nice which added to our overall experience. The bed upstairs (the only one we used) was super comfy as were the pillows. We were in the area for my niece’s high school graduation and plan to stay here again for any future visits! Highly recommend this place. Also, Jennifer was an amazing host and was always quick to respond. We did not need much from her as everything was self explanatory thanks to the thoughtful notes! We had an amazing stay at "Wasted Time!" The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. Plenty of kitchen accessories, dishes, spices, etc. Loads of linens and towels, and an air mattress. The kayaks were so convenient and we felt like having them there really saved us money in the long run. We explored the springs, jumped off rope swings and tall trees, played at the beach, and pulled up to eat at the local restaurant. The neighbors were friendly. And we had a momma and baby manatee that payed us a long visit on our last night. It was incredible! We hope to stay again!!

One of the best AirBnB stays ever. Host was responsive, helpful, flexible and home was better than described. We will definitely be back!

The place is located on a very lushly landscaped property. The long dock calls you out to it. The bedrooms were bigger than we expected. Perfect place to rent a boat, fish. and spend time outdoors with family.

One word, paradise! We absolutely loved staying here. Being able to use the kayaks right off the dock made this a perfect place to really experience the river. We will definitely be back in the future.

We loved staying here almost a week while visiting relatives in the area. Great, family-friendly place and we made use of the swimming area (very clear water for a lake), paddleboards, and kayaks--our kids loved it! House was clean and everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the back screened porch too--looking over the beautiful lake, and very private. Heather was communicative and friendly--we'd love to come back next time we're in the area!

Nice little cottage tucked away and away from people very quiet and relaxing place charming cottage very clean and just big enough for two people Very easy process for our first air bnb and the owners were great to work with The yard was very nice for the dog he is older so it was just big enough for him to sniff. Location to get to things local is great and very good restaurants nearby Would recommend

STOP SEARCHING!!! This. Place. Is. It. If it’s available book it! The Funky Flamingo is fabulous, everything about this place is perfect! Perfect location, perfect decor, perfect everything!!! Exactly like the pictures, adorable cottage, very cozy! Had an amazing time and it had everything we needed for the few days we were there. Kitchen was well equipped with basic cooking needs. Beds and bed linens were really comfortable, plenty of blankets and towels as well.

“Peaceful” Bernadette place is perfect to unwind. Especially if you like to fish, it’s within steps from the cottage with its own private deck that’s surrounded by big Cypress Trees that provide lots of shade while you fish or just want to kick your shoes off and relax. The cottage was super cozy and clean the perfect setup to relax from every day busyness. Will definitely come back!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The property was just as described. Accommodations were very comfortable and had plenty of amenities. Use of the kayaks and hot tub was an added bonus. Would definitely stay there again. Hosts are friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Peaceful setting, just what we needed for a weekend away.

The place is private and very well stocked for all of your needs. Super clean and comfortable. Close to all the fun forest activities and springs as well as shopping and fun places to eat. Would definitely stay again.

This is a perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway and exploring in nature. A highlight of the stay was seeing all the wildlife on the Chassahowitzka River! This cabin was cozy, and felt like home. We appreciated amenities like board games, the grill and kayaks (& lifevests) which made the experience seamless. Make sure you bring your own mask and snorkel to make the most of this great spot with its very own river access!!

This is our second time staying here, my dog, boyfriend, and I love it here! We would live here if we could, haha. Leslie is so helpful and always responds quickly. If you love being in nature, this is great! Our dog loves the fenced in backyard, walking to the park by the water, and also riding on the golf cart! They have everything you need here, and more! We took our dog out on the double kayak, and it was so nice! We saw otters and lots of nature. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but a cozy place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We will be back again, I am sure of that. Thank you Leslie and Richard!

We had a fantastic stay! The home is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with lots to keep you entertained. The outdoor area is gorgeous- lots of seating, a fire pit, picnic area, and more. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and saw a manatee while out on the river. The hosts were super responsive from booking through checkout. Thank you!

This was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The cabin was cozy and welcoming and had everything you could need amenity wise. We loved fishing off the covered dock and cruising the lake in the kayaks. Would recommend for friends or family vacation and will keep on the list for a return visit!

A beautiful hidden gem tucked away near Blue Springs State Park. We enjoyed being on the water, listening to.the extensive record collection, viewing all the wildlife and simply relaxing on the deck and the dock. The views are amazing from the living space and it was nice to have a screened porch option for most of our meals. We can't wait to return!

The Tin Roof Cabin was so nice! It was tastefully decorated and very clean. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and more. It was nice to be able to log in to our Netflix account on the smart tv. Lou Ann was very friendly and helpful. It exceeded our expectations!

Experience was perfect and exactly what my husband and I needed to get some R&R and peace away from the busy city. Lots of great fishin off the dock. Bluegill, gar, bowfin,catfish, and a wee baby alligator. Friendly people nearby and good food and live music at the restaurant across the street. We will definitely return.
