Northfield, Cottage Apartment

Karen IrinnaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Solway Holiday Villa

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!
An indoor heated swimming pool is showcased, surrounded by smooth wooden decking. The water reflects soft lighting from above, while exposed brick walls add texture to the space. Glass doors provide access to the outdoors, enhancing the room's openness.

Bayview Bliss - Northumberland Retreat. NewBiggin

JohnRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. Thanks Scott for making the one night stay comfortable. You are a star

Gate House to the Quayside

JoyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay in The Gatehouse- being part of the quay walls felt special. Such a fantastic location and was able to see so much wildlife in the local and surrounding area: seals, puffins, dolphins and even an otter! The flat has everything needed and is so peaceful too yet there is an abundance of eateries and cafes close by. Berwick is full of shopping opportunities and there are larger supermarkets just outside the main town. You can reach the beaches for walks and sunset watching within ten mins on foot. We visited the Farne Islands, Holy Island and Alnwick Gardens all by bus but be advised that the service is limited so plan ahead. Jon was very quick to answer our queries and popped by to say hi too. We thank you for your hospitality Jon.

Cosy house in beautiful surroundings.

NatashaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely cottage. Clean and functional. A great location for trips to Scotland and Northern England as it was located right on the boarder. Lovely surroundings with the river tweed literally down the end of the road. We had a lovely box of chocolate biscuits waiting for us , with teapot, cups and saucers, with some milk in a jug in the fridge. Sadly we couldn’t enjoy it on arrival as we didn’t bring any coffee or tea. As we arrived late after 10 hours of travel the shops were closed, so we had to hold out until the morning when we found the local village shop. The garden wasn’t as private as the picture shows, it’s was very open and backed onto a hotel garden where people were in the garden playing and kicking the children’s ball over the low fence into the garden. Once the hedge fully grows it would be a lot more enjoyable to sit in the garden as it’s beautifully presented.

3 Bowsden Hall Farm Cottage

JoannaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My parents and I had a wonderful stay for the weekend. The house was immaculate, warm and very well presented in a lovely little village that is only a short distance from Holy island, Bamburugh and Alnwick making it an ideal location to explore from. My son loved the steam train from Heatherslaw to Etal which is only a few miles away too. We were all very comfortable and would definitely recommend staying here and will likely return in the future as there is so much to do and we know how good the accommodation is. Thankyou!

Cosy Cottage, Sunny Deck, Dog Friendly, Near Pub

Lovely and welcoming house, perfectly located to explore the region, and be able to come back to a quiet place for the evening/night. We came for a short stay (3 nights) with our 2 young kids, and found children books and a nice decked outdoor space outdoor at the back, both very nice additions. Emma is an attentive and proactive host, and excellent recommendations.

Fantastic stay in a beautifully rural location with lovely grounds. Katie & James present this property beautifully. The attention to detail was great & the welcome hamper was a really nice touch. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend & would certainly return in the future.

Loved staying here. Absolutely fantastic, modern property. It was a perfect base for our holiday and a relaxing place to unwind each day. Luxury 2025 Barn Conversion

LucyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Such a beautiful cottage with everything you could want and more. Super easy being so close to the A1 and meant our mini trips out to eat or to the beaches at Seahouses, Goswick and Holy Island were so easy to get to!! Makes a really useful change for us as we normally stay further inland. A safe little courtyard, with no direct road access also adds to the sense of being away from it. The incredible bathroom and log burner are huge, much enjoyed and indulged in, bonuses ❤️

Thistle Nook - Cozy Country Cottage

Deborah JayneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. beautifully presented and although compact, it's a very usable space. The directions for arrival were slightly confusing as it directs you to the church to find the property. The old church is now a community centre and the actual church is on the other side of the road. Was fine once we figured this out! One small negative was the wooden bar stools under the dining table made using the table uncomfortable. Overall we had a lovely stay, Coldstream is a great place to explore. We did some long river walks and there was a bonus play park a couple of minutes from the cottage. The locals were friendly and I would highly recommend visiting the local butcher and bakery!

A fantastic cottage, in a very quiet position, overlooking a beautiful field with sheep with hares! Minutes from three pubs, local shops and a supermarket. We recommend the Black Swan for a warm Northumberland welcome and the fish and shop which is open at the weekend. Masses to do in the area, or just stay put and enjoy the peace and views! Easy access to the A1 to travel up and down the coast. Rob was a fantastic host with an excellent guide book for the area. The cottage was immaculately clean, spacious with comfy beds and an outdoor sitting area. (parking for 1 car next to the cottage)
