Vacation rentals with breakfast in Ascona

We came to Rodero with my friend, his daughter, my parents and my family living in Singapore. As we come from very busy city we were looking for quiet and relaxing place with nature around. We are very happy that we found this in Riarel Apartments. At first it looks like place far away but actually 5 min drive, there is train station that takes you anywhere around region. So in the end we have been central to all interesting locations in North of Italy or South of Switzerland. We used train for family trip to Bellinzona and it was great experience. As we had 3 small children we appreciated possibility to use kitchen and garden - kids had so much fun there. Carlo- owner of Riarel was always very helpful and was able to give us great tips what to do around Rodero. Rooms were perfectly prepared for our arrival, clean, nicely furnished, with nice view and great design. If you are looking for nice place to stay out of busy and stressful city this is perfect choice. Highly recommended !

Lovely little apartment, with a beautiful view of Lake Como. A few nice restaurants nearby, but you do have to be relatively fit as there are hundreds of cobbled steps to and from any part of the town to the BnB! Worth it for the view but something to be mindful of when booking. Annalisa & her son, Ricciardo, were so helpful and quick to respond if we needed anything, and there was free local parking when needed. Thank you!

We had a very pleasant stay at Daniele’s house in Como. He was very helpful and responsive—he sent us a video guide for the self check-in and explained everything in detail, which made the process easy and smooth. The apartment is located on the second floor, please expect a few stairs to get to the house. However, the location is convenient, with both the train station and bus stop within walking distance. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the provided breakfast and snacks. Thank you, Daniele, for hosting us—we really enjoyed our stay!

Such a lovely place in a remarkable location! Nesso is a beautiful little town with lots to explore by foot - the little supermarket has everything you need, you can hike, and you can see the lake panorama directly from the terrace. Our off-season stay in March meant that the town was basically empty, so we truly got to enjoy some peace and calm. The house is cozy and has some beautiful vintage details (the tiles!). The bathroom is spacious and clean, the kitchen has all the basics, and the hosts kindly provided some snacks and pasta supplies, which was a lovely surprise. One thing to note: there is only street leading out of town from the apartment, and it is exactly 2,20m narrow - so keep that in mind if you're thinking of renting a car :) We loved our stay and hope to return soon!

This little place is just off the main area of stresa, which means it is in a quaint little suburb. The house feels just like home with Simona and Enrico leaving some goodies as required. The only thing is that it seemed that there was a little bit of a party at one of the locals houses, which kept my partner up and the church has a bell tower so no need to set an alarm! Otherwise was exactly what we needed!

The time with Monica and Andrea was simply wonderful. It was by far one of the best Airbnbs we've ever been to. Thank you for everything! 🫶🏻

The reception was great, we got delicious regional stuff to eat. Very caring that even breakfast was thought of. The house is very well equipped and cozy. The garden is beautifully large and fenced. The surroundings are authentic and beautiful hiking trails within walking distance. Shopping in 5 minutes drive, the nearest larger town in 10-15 minutes and Milano by train cheap one hour away. We have not yet had such a well-equipped kitchen in any accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay in Tremezzo. The appartement is very well located with a great view and a lovely garden. The beddings and towels are great quality, the kitchen is very well equipped , perfect for familles.

Simple but very well-stocked apartment, cozy and in a great position. In the area there are beautiful walks to do, starting directly from the house, very panoramic and quiet.

Amazing location! The island gets busy during the day, but is incredibly peaceful post 630pm (in May). Loved it

Amazing host , felt right at home from the second we met, perfect dog made everything much much more pleasant luca gave us great advices as well always present and respectful we enjoyed our stay hopefully we come back soon .

Alessandra is a great host. Her apartment is amazing and has a perfect location. Quiet village near Como and Lugano. Alessandra and her family are the nicest people in the Wold. Sure we will be back!

We were completely pleased with our stay. The host couple were very loving, accommodating and especially attentive in dealing with our child. The view is simply breathtaking – a real highlight! The journey was a bit complicated, as the roads are narrow and steep, but it is definitely worth the effort. Breakfast was lovingly prepared, very tasty and all homemade – the perfect start to the day. The apartment is small but very cozy and absolutely clean. The beautiful garden, which invites you to relax, is also particularly beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Lydia is a wonderful host! From the moment you enter the B&B, you feel right at home – warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are nice and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Lydia provided me with many great tips for things to do in and around Como, which enriched my stay. It’s a place you’ll want to return to – highly recommended!

This B&B perched in the heights of Lake Maggiore is a beautiful and peaceful place, a little piece of heaven for animal lovers. Luca and Anna are adorable, very welcoming. And breakfast was great!

From the minute we made contact with Linda and Luigi we felt we would have a great vacation which proved to be spot on. We received the warmest welcome from Linda and Luigi making their home our home. The room had a stunning view across the lake was large and airy with a nice private bathroom. The garden is beautiful with many plants coming into bloom with seating around the pool and ideal sport to unwind. Breakfast was delicious with Luigi making excellent coffee lungo , the homage orange jam reminded me of my mum’s and the lovely apple cake set you up for the day. Cherryenrose is ideal to catch the bus to Belliago or Como, handily placed for the ferry connect . With plenty of car parking we made many trips around lake Como and beyond. Linda and Lugi’s local recommendation were great with Aura being the standout restaurant for both service and food, the Copa bar for a friendly welcome great atmosphere . Luigi and Lind couldn’t be more helpful and we certainly be back.

Corinna and Bernd are such lovely and friendly hosts! We felt immediately at home in their incredibly beautiful bed & breakfast and had an amazing time (despite two days of very heavy rain). We took their suggestions for hiking trails/local restaurants and fortunately still caught the right time to explore and enjoy the surroundings. It is also not far from Locarno by car, which we visited on one of the rainy days. However, what we enjoyed the most was the peaceful location and Corinna and Bernd's warm reception. We would certainly recommend it to friends & family.

We loved our stay at Marco's house. He was so welcoming, giving us a tour when we got there and making sure we were all set. The house and surroundings/view are beautiful. We did not have a car, so we had to take a bus and walk a bit to get up to the house, but Marco gave clear instructions on how to do so. He went above and beyond, with a wonderful breakfast including a freshly baked cake. He even left us some fresh strawberries from his garden. If you are looking for true Italian hospitality and a beautiful view, this is for you!

Sara is a very sweet, smiling and helpful person❤️, Sara is also very flexible. Sara personally accompanied us to a restaurant, which was a great help. ❤️ Sara is definitely worth a visit, it is very beautiful and quiet at Sara's. Definitely recommend ❤️

Paolo and Yoko are the best hosts you could ask for. The beautiful old Ticino house offers everything you need to relax. Breakfast is served in the beautiful garden overlooking the lake and Yoko spoiled us with culinary delights. They were very helpful and there for us with tips and warmth... we will be back! Thank you so much!

Daniele and Sonia were extremely friendly and helpful, the room and the kitchen clean and with nice details. The breakfast had everything we could wish for, even the freshest eggs from their own chickens! We just stayed for one night and it was perfect for an overnight stay on the way back home.
