An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

My apartment belongs to Ronco and has a magnificent view over Lake Maggiore. Distance to the village of Ronco: 10 minutes on foot. The "Cimitero" (cemetery) bus stop is 50 meters from the entrance. Ronco (353 m above sea level) has 700 inhabitants and 4 restaurants. Distance to Ascona: 15 minutes by car. The apartment was completed in 2016. It is small (28 square meters) but nice (all new high-quality equipment). This apartment is a non-smoking apartment.

We spent very relaxing and restful days in this beautiful accommodation. The two-story, well-kept house (with wooden stairs to the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms and a bathroom) is wonderfully quiet with a breathtaking view elevated on the slope of Brissago. A toilet right at the entrance, the open, well-equipped kitchen and the spacious living and dining room as well as the terrace are on the ground floor. The house can only be reached on foot via some steep Ticino stairs (fitness training included ;)). There are parking spaces on the street for the car. Everything is very well documented and described by Judith and Hans and corresponds to the pictures. (Small tip as a supplement: pull the lid of the key box firmly so that it hangs out). We felt completely comfortable! It was fantastic!

We were received in a very friendly and personable way and were soon explained the most important things that were important for the pleasant arrival and settling in. So we were able to use and enjoy the attractive advantages of this accommodation from the first hour. In addition to the bright, clean and tastefully furnished apartment, we were delighted by the beautiful garden, the various seating and lounging areas right in front of the apartment, the magnificent view and especially the magnificent, private lake access. Our hosts then gradually gave us more valuable information and tips to explore the region. The convenient accessibility of Ascona on foot is another advantage of the residential area. A hiking trail, which runs along the property, leads to the chestnut forests after a few meters and allows various routes. We enjoyed the week to the fullest from the first to the last day.
