Vacation rentals with breakfast in Ascona

We came to Rodero with my friend, his daughter, my parents and my family living in Singapore. As we come from very busy city we were looking for quiet and relaxing place with nature around. We are very happy that we found this in Riarel Apartments. At first it looks like place far away but actually 5 min drive, there is train station that takes you anywhere around region. So in the end we have been central to all interesting locations in North of Italy or South of Switzerland. We used train for family trip to Bellinzona and it was great experience. As we had 3 small children we appreciated possibility to use kitchen and garden - kids had so much fun there. Carlo- owner of Riarel was always very helpful and was able to give us great tips what to do around Rodero. Rooms were perfectly prepared for our arrival, clean, nicely furnished, with nice view and great design. If you are looking for nice place to stay out of busy and stressful city this is perfect choice. Highly recommended !

Lovely little apartment, with a beautiful view of Lake Como. A few nice restaurants nearby, but you do have to be relatively fit as there are hundreds of cobbled steps to and from any part of the town to the BnB! Worth it for the view but something to be mindful of when booking. Annalisa & her son, Ricciardo, were so helpful and quick to respond if we needed anything, and there was free local parking when needed. Thank you!

We had a very pleasant stay at Daniele’s house in Como. He was very helpful and responsive—he sent us a video guide for the self check-in and explained everything in detail, which made the process easy and smooth. The apartment is located on the second floor, please expect a few stairs to get to the house. However, the location is convenient, with both the train station and bus stop within walking distance. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the provided breakfast and snacks. Thank you, Daniele, for hosting us—we really enjoyed our stay!

Such a lovely place in a remarkable location! Nesso is a beautiful little town with lots to explore by foot - the little supermarket has everything you need, you can hike, and you can see the lake panorama directly from the terrace. Our off-season stay in March meant that the town was basically empty, so we truly got to enjoy some peace and calm. The house is cozy and has some beautiful vintage details (the tiles!). The bathroom is spacious and clean, the kitchen has all the basics, and the hosts kindly provided some snacks and pasta supplies, which was a lovely surprise. One thing to note: there is only street leading out of town from the apartment, and it is exactly 2,20m narrow - so keep that in mind if you're thinking of renting a car :) We loved our stay and hope to return soon!

This little place is just off the main area of stresa, which means it is in a quaint little suburb. The house feels just like home with Simona and Enrico leaving some goodies as required. The only thing is that it seemed that there was a little bit of a party at one of the locals houses, which kept my partner up and the church has a bell tower so no need to set an alarm! Otherwise was exactly what we needed!

Der Empfang war großartig, wir haben leckere regionale Sachen zum Essen bekommen. Sehr fürsorglich, dass sogar an das Frühstück gedacht wurde. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Der Garten ist schön groß und umzäunt. Die Umgebung ist authentisch und schöne Wanderwege schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Einkaufen in 5 Minuten Fahrtzeit, das nächste größere Städtchen in 10 - 15 Minuten und Milano mit dem Zug günstig eine Stunde Fahrt. Wir hatten noch in keiner Unterkunft eine so gut ausgestattete Küche.

5 fantastiske dage i dette skønne hus.Udsigten var storslået , haven bedre end beskrevet, simpelthen en lille oase midt i alt ! Der var rent og hyggeligt, og gjort alt ,for at vi som lejere, skal have et godt ophold. Kommunikationen var god.Det var alt i alt en fantastisk ferie. Vi vil helt sikkert komme igen

Monolocale accogliente, ben tenuto e perfettamente pulito. Dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole, dalla cucina attrezzata al Wi-Fi veloce. Ideale per chi cerca un ambiente tranquillo e funzionale. Consigliato!

Appartamento semplice ma molto fornito, accogliente e in ottima posizione. Nella zona ci sono delle bellissime passeggiate da fare, partendo direttamente da casa, molto panoramiche e tranquille.

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt bei Luca in Ameno! Wir waren für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt, es war sehr schön für uns. Die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend , der Garten hat unsere Herzen höher schlagen lassen, überall gab es Ecken zum entspannen. Mit den Fahrrädern konnten wir die Gegend erkunden, Luca gab uns Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Wohnung war perfekt für uns, wobei wir den größten Teil unseres Aufenthalts draußen im Garten verbracht haben. Luca war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit offenen Armen in seinem Zuhause willkommen geheißen. Wir hätten es nicht besser haben können und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! Alles in allem perfekt, ich würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne geben <3

la posizione è perfetta se gradite avere un po di privacy e stare lontani dal caos del lungo lago, ma comunque strategicamente vicini. il paesino è delizioso ed il panorama splendido. da qui si arriva velocemente a Griante dove parcheggiare a tariffe convenienti e prendere il battello per le principali mete sul lago di Como. La Svizzera e veramente vicinissima e con poco più di un'ora di auto arrivate a Lugano. Alessandra e la sua famiglia sono gentili e disponibili, e vi faranno sentire a casa vostra.

Chiara est très gentille et arrangeante. Le logement est grand et confortable mais il n'y a pas de WiFi. Il y a de quoi faire le petit déjeuner mais pas de gâteaux fait maison comme dans certains commentaires. Tout est très propre et mignon et il y a des randonnées à faire tout près. c'est un peu lin du centre de Como mais parfait pour être en paix.

Mi amigo y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de la estancia. Zona tranquila, con el espacio suficiente para convivir dos personas y con un patio donde pasar la noche y charlar tranquilamente. La anfitriona fue genial, estuvo pendiente en todo momento de nosotros y además nos dejó una botella de Prosecco como regalo de bienvenida. Estancia y anfitriona 100% recomendables.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Das Gastgeberpaar waren sehr liebevoll, zuvorkommend und besonders aufmerksam im Umgang mit unserem Kind. Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend – wirklich ein Highlight! Die Anfahrt war zwar etwas kompliziert, da die Straßen eng und steil sind, aber die Mühe lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Das Frühstück war liebevoll hergerichtet, sehr lecker und alles hausgemacht – der perfekte Start in den Tag. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich und absolut sauber. Besonders schön ist auch der wunderschöne Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Lydia is a wonderful host! From the moment you enter the B&B, you feel right at home – warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are nice and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Lydia provided me with many great tips for things to do in and around Como, which enriched my stay. It’s a place you’ll want to return to – highly recommended!

Ce B&B perché dans les hauteurs du Lac Majeur est un endroit beau et paisible, un petit coin de paradis pour les amis des animaux. Luca et Anna sont adorables, très accueillants. Et le petit-déjeuner était super !

Absolutely loved our stay here! The view was unreal, even better than the photos. Breakfast each morning was great and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were amazing, kind and helpful the entire time. If you're renting a car, parking is super easy. Would definitely love to come back!

Notre séjour dans ce logement a été tout simplement enchanteur ! La vue panoramique était à couper le souffle, offrant des moments de tranquillité et de contemplation. De plus, les hôtes étaient d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle, nous accueillant chaleureusement et nous fournissant des conseils précieux pour explorer la région. Un véritable havre de paix où l'accueil chaleureux et la vue magnifique se sont combinés pour créer une expérience inoubliable. Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, nous avons eu la chance de contempler une pluie d'étoiles filantes, ajoutant une touche de magie à notre séjour déjà mémorable. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit à tous les voyageurs en quête d'une escapade relaxante et riche en souvenirs.

We loved our stay at Marco's house. He was so welcoming, giving us a tour when we got there and making sure we were all set. The house and surroundings/view are beautiful. We did not have a car, so we had to take a bus and walk a bit to get up to the house, but Marco gave clear instructions on how to do so. He went above and beyond, with a wonderful breakfast including a freshly baked cake. He even left us some fresh strawberries from his garden. If you are looking for true Italian hospitality and a beautiful view, this is for you!

Sara er en meget sød, smilende og hjælpsom person ❤️, Sara er også meget fleksibel. Sara fulgte os personligt hen til en restaurant, det var en stor hjælp ❤️ Sara er helt sikkert et besøg værd, der er meget smukt og roligt hos Sara. Helt klart at anbefale ❤️

Paolo und Yoko sind die besten Gastgeber, die man sich wünschen kann. Das wunderschöne alte Tessiner Haus bietet alles, was man braucht, um sich zu erholen. Gefrühstückt wird im wunderschönen Garten mit Aussicht auf den See und Yoko hat uns kulinarisch verwöhnt. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und mit Tipps und Warmherzigkeit für uns da… wir kommen wieder! Vielen, vielen Dank!

Daniele and Sonia were extremely friendly and helpful, the room and the kitchen clean and with nice details. The breakfast had everything we could wish for, even the freshest eggs from their own chickens! We just stayed for one night and it was perfect for an overnight stay on the way back home.
