Vacation rentals with breakfast in Ticino

we had a fantastic stay at Barbara's beautiful place. We hiked through the rain and arrived in a cozy welcoming place. she treated us with kindness and smile. Also a very lovely village... I would go back again to see it in sun!

We were from the 11th–16th May 2025 with my parents and our dog in this fantastic accommodation and completely thrilled. Communication with the hosts was always quick, warm and helpful. The beautiful, detached single-family house with basement, first floor and upper floor is significantly larger than can be seen in the pictures, very tastefully decorated and equipped to a high standard. We were particularly impressed by the spacious, well-equipped kitchen with everything your heart desires. Terrace and balcony invite you to linger, the lovingly landscaped garden is completely fenced – except for the L-shaped driveway, so our dog could run free. Although the access is described as narrow in the listing, we were able to access it well with our camper (5.99 m long, 2.05 m wide) with a little patience and careful maneuvering. The layout with three cozy bedrooms is also ideal for the home office. We will be happy to come back!

It could have more mirrors, it only has one mirror in the bathroom. unfriendly neighbors because of parking situation, we were threatened with a complaint because we reset the parking disc after 4 hours. great location, breakfast (except Sundays) included. very nice bright style and clean.

Ideally located for a stopover to Italy. Friendly landlady who greeted us personally on the street. House was not easy to find, as it is in a side street and the numbering is "unconventional"

Paolo and Yoko are the best hosts you could ask for. The beautiful old Ticino house offers everything you need to relax. Breakfast is served in the beautiful garden overlooking the lake and Yoko spoiled us with culinary delights. They were very helpful and there for us with tips and warmth... we will be back! Thank you so much!

We enjoyed the hospitality and the great ambience with Erica and Wolfgang very much. If you are looking for peace, exciting conversations and good food, La Crisalide is the right place. Meride is a beautiful village and ideal starting point for hiking and excursions around Lake Lugano. We can highly recommend La Crisalide with their hosts.

Awesome stay, best place I've tried in Lugano yet. Pretty much exactly like expected from pictures, and the outdoor space is surprisingly large. You do hear everything from the hallway very well, but otherwise all is nice and quiet. Grazie mille

I booked the place for my mom. We found everything perfectly tidy and clean! Very nice house in a quiet area 10 minutes by bus or car from Lugano. My mother had a very good stay. The owners (Daniela and her husband) are great people, reliable and helpful. I recommend everyone to stay at this property. Suitable for individuals, couples or families of 3/4 people Max. We stayed there one night on New Year's Eve. The penthouse was beautiful for a few memorable, romantic hours. We felt at home from the beginning. It's what it promises. However, we have found it a pity that we did not have breakfast served for this price in the accommodation and the parking space cost 25. Otherwise, we would highly recommend this penthouse (too top of the Hotel Ibis) and possibly come again.

Simple & stylishly furnished room with a kitchen that has everything you need for a short stay (coffee maker, kettle...). The location is perfect and also super convenient for traveling with public transport. Direct neighborhood to Piazza Grande!

Great place if you search for something with unique interior. Good location if you plan to discover neighborhood, close to the lake side. Host is is very friendly and has some nice advices.

Everything was perfect, the description was accurate. The only problem is finding the hotel, it was a little hidden, I would have liked to have a sign.

Corinna and Bernd are such lovely and friendly hosts! We felt immediately at home in their incredibly beautiful bed & breakfast and had an amazing time (despite two days of very heavy rain). We took their suggestions for hiking trails/local restaurants and fortunately still caught the right time to explore and enjoy the surroundings. It is also not far from Locarno by car, which we visited on one of the rainy days. However, what we enjoyed the most was the peaceful location and Corinna and Bernd's warm reception. We would certainly recommend it to friends & family.

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. It was wonderfully quiet, Rosa is super friendly and the breakfasts were great. Rosa and Simona: thank you so much and maybe see you next time.

Elisabetta is a wonderful host and cook. We were a birthday party of eight and felt right at home in that beautiful place of hers. All rooms were exceptionally beautiful and tastefully furnished, we were stunned. We truly had an amazing time and thank Elisabetta for having us. We highly recommend making the way to her beautiful home and just enjoy the beauty and quiet. Thank you again!

The place is very nice and decorated to feel good. The warm welcome from host Lilliane was very great. The host couple was also very flexible and helpful. A great place and highly recommended.

Wow! We found Beni‘s place by luck, arrived by foot and felt right at home instantly. The building is a gem, the view from the room stunning, the common rooms cozy and welcoming — you could easily spend a week there (internet‘s great, by the way). Restaurants are hard to find, but you‘ll feel very comfortable cooking there and probably be part of a larger group having wonderful meals and a great time together. It came very unexpected for us, we appreciated it highly and enjoyed it beyond words.
