Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic, peaceful bothy on the banks of the River Isla. Newly refurbished with your comfort and relaxation in mind. Underfloor heating throughout to give a cosy stay. Set on the Angus/Perthshire border with easy access to spectacular countryside and the Scottish glens. Ski resorts, fishing, hill and forest walking, wild swimming and golf all close by and 15 minutes to the attractive towns of Kirriemuir and Blairgowrie. The village of Alyth is only 5 mins away

Beautiful royal-village cottage with wood-burner
Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

The “Wee Bothy” offers a great base to explore the North East Coast, our scenic Angus Glens, and nearby Towns and Cities with places of interest all around. The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.

The Carthouse (Luxury 2 bed with private hot tub)
The Carthouse is located in beautiful country side and is perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet. Conveniently located with St Andrews, Dundee and Perth all just over 10 miles away. Originally built in 1852 The Carthouse was originally a working building which formed part of the historic Woodmill Mains steading. It has recently been lovingly and sensitively converted by the current owners to the highest standard while still retaining many of the original features.

The cottage is small and cozy with a wood burner. 1 toilet and shower. 2 double-bed bedrooms upstairs accessed by a spiral staircase. We also have good WiFi.
