We will be on hand to welcome you to your home for your duration in Edinburgh. We will guide you round the apartment and ensure that you know where everything is and how it all works. We will then hand over your keys and leave you to enjoy your surroundings. We will always be on the end of the phone and if needed back at the apartment. The apartment is on George Street, in the heart of Edinburgh. Boutiques and designer bars are on the doorstep. Sightseeing can be done by looking out the window. Walk to the Castle and browse the shops on the way back. Walking is the best way to see Edinburgh and by being based on George St nothing is too far away. You can park on the street if you need to unload or you can taxi to the door. Buses from the airport drop you ten mins away so you don't even need a car. Buses and taxis are all on your doorstep so access is easy whether you need out or in to the city. Your linen and towels are all provided so please don't bring a thing. The kitchen is well equipped with all the things that you will need.

Enter into a magical courtyard off the Royal Mile guarded by four blue and gold dragons and you step back in time to a mystical period. The property dates from 1790 but has been sympathetically upgraded. The wonders of the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are right on your doorstep, or, if you prefer, close the door and people watch from your bedroom or living room which look straight on to the Royal Mile. You really couldn't get a better position to enjoy the Castle, the Palace, Arthurs Seat or the wonders of the Old Town of Edinburgh. Entire property. I will be in the local area and always on hand if you have a question or an issue. Set in the heart of Old Town, the flat is steps away from the vibrant boutiques, craft shops, pubs, and restaurants that line the area’s quaint streets and alleyways. It’s an ideal stepping off point for visiting many museums and historic sites. This apartment is based on the Royal Mile where tour buses leave on a regular basis as do taxis and local buses. Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

Fabulous Georgian family Townhouse

This fine Georgian upper townhouse makes a perfect base for exploring Edinburgh. It has every comfort to be your home-from-home. Please note: this is a traditional Edinburgh Georgian “double upper” and there are 5 short flights of stairs (48 steps) to the front door. Sadly, it is not wheelchair accessible. We have a 5 night minimum stay policy during Christmas, New Year & during the festival in August.
