Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2/3 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Harbour Cottage has been recently refurbished and is set in the tranquil and scenic village of Johnshaven in the North East of Scotland. House is situated at the harbour front close to all amenities within village. The nearby restaurant/pub serves excellent food including locally sourced seafood. Many scenic walks both locally and in the area. Wildlife in abundance and Nature Reserve at St Cyrus worthy of visit. Golf,tennis,swimming,etc are nearby. Wonderful sandy beaches nearby

The property, built in 1856, has housed many fishing families over the years and continues to be at the heart of the ‘fit o the toon’ community. The ground floor property offers easy outdoor access. At this unique and tranquil getaway, we suggest you try leaving your phone turned off during your visit so you can fully appreciate tranquility in the woods. Enjoy the slow life, destress and go for country walks and look out for Deer, Buzzards, Horses and Sheep. Wake to the wonderful sound of birds chirping away. The cottage is small and cozy with a wood burner. 1 toilet and shower. 2 double-bed bedrooms upstairs accessed by a spiral staircase. We also have good WiFi.
