Vacation rentals with a kayak in Alaska

This house was so spacious and clean! Loved the lake view and dock. Swans were peaceful to watch.

Nicks place was amazing , clean comfortable and had everything you could think of . We paddle boarded and canoed without any issues . The jacuzzi tub was a bonus , I have young kids and they were entertained the entire weekend with all the extras supplied at the home toys and games . It made you feel right at home . I had one issue and nick came right over and helped me sort it out . We willl definitely be back !!!!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The cabin was cozy and had every amenity you'd need. I absolutely felt at home throughout my week long stay. The location couldn't be better if you're looking for somewhere just outside the city. Very peaceful.

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

We had a great stay in this little cottage. It was exactly as represented, and Megan was very responsive to all our needs. The space was exceptionally clean and the perfect size for our needs. Just bummed we couldn’t stay longer but we will be back! Great space and location.

Such a cool property overlooking the water and the mountains! We were able to see otters which was amazing! The sauna and fireplace were a lovely addition. Hope to be back in the future and stay longer!

We loved our stay! The space was spotless, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches like local art, complimentary chocolate, and complimentary hot sauce. The ocean views and garage-style door made it feel like the best of indoor-outdoor living. The sauna, soaking tub, and Euro-style shower felt like a mini spa retreat. Great host, smooth communication. We would absolutely stay again!

I hesitate to let out the secret that is Eric's place. A 15 minute drive from downtown Talkeetna, it is an oasis on a beautiful lake. Everything was as described, and the beds were extremely comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked, and Eric promptly responded to any questions we had. We think it's a great value for the money and only wished the weather cooperated a bit more for us to use his lake toys. Eric also was quite flexible with our check-in and checkout times, which we greatly appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend Eric's place!

This is the nicest and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It is better than described in every way. The view is beautiful and so are the surroundings. It is a very quiet and peaceful venue. Gina was always very fast to respond if needed. This place will exceed your expectations!

We had a wonderful time. What a beautiful lake and a wonderful hot tub! The cabin was so homey and had everything we needed. We enjoyed building a fire in the stove and watching movies while overlooking a beautiful lake. We would recommend this cabin and Shanna was very helpful!

The cabin was cozy and warm in spite of the weather - we had such a good time . Games and puzzles were perfect for the weather !!

Truly incredible place. The view is breathtaking - you can stare at it all day and watch the wildlife. We saw orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, seals, sea otters and a variety of birds all day long. It seemed like every time I looked outside some sea critters were playing in the ocean right below. So awesome. The stairs as others have said are a challenge but not dangerous, just a good workout! And they go by quickly. The cabin is well stocked with kitchenware / plates. My only suggestion for those traveling is to bring a personal blanket for sitting on the deck. I was surprised how much time we spent doing that. It just never got old. Definitely try the sea kayaks - such an awesome excursion. Overall a truly incredible place. Especially for adventurous spirits that want to experience tranquility. I hope to go back someday soon!

Amazing cabin with an exceptional view! Was quiet and calm and not too far south of Denali National Park. The Eagle nest was very nice and stood out as well

My husband and I loved staying here! Beautiful views to sit and paint watercolors when we were home, cozy bed, wonderful kitchen we cooked in and Bill is so great! We want to come back again to see the lights and the have more great chats with Bill. Really a great time! Thank you, Priscilla & Morton

The conspiracy hut was everything we needed and more. It was very clean, spacious, and fully stocked with necessities. Brad was incredibly accommodating. He answered any questions we had in a timely manner and made sure we knew what was available to us (lake toys, grill, fire pit, etc…) A huge selling point for us was the sauna! So relaxing and enjoyable. 10/10 would stay here again! If you’re looking for a fun place to stay in Big Lake - this is it!
