Apartment vacation rentals in Alaska

Everything went perfect. We were in Homer with our 3 kids to fish and explore the area. We have stayed at quite a few short term rentals and this one was near the top of our list. The view is just stunning! I appreciate all the items in the kitchen as well. Seriously- drop in before running to the store- the place is well equipped with cooking supplies! The grill also came in handy. Daniel was also very responsive to our text and helped us navigate some questions about the area before we arrived. The bedrooms have blackout curtains for those long summer days. Washer and dryer were super helpful after a long day of fishing. Can’t think of a single thing I would change! Wonderful stay.

Nice Airbnb, quiet location! Well stocked kitchen & house amenities overall. Caleb & Grace had a welcome gift of makings for spaghetti, which was appreciated! This unit was comfortable for 2 adults.

Alexandra and Forrest are absolutely wonderful hosts! The place was lovely, and had a great view! The hosts provided laundry supplies and lots of clean linens. The king size bed was very comfortable - we even asked about where to get the mattress because we want to get one, which the hosts were happy to tell us :) The only thing to be aware of really is just that the place is pretty close to a main road, so you can hear cars through the bedroom window, but if you keep the window closed or bring earplugs for sleeping it’s not too bad. But the curtains keep almost all light out so we didn’t even need to use eye masks. Additionally, the proximity to city life does provide convenience if you want to walk the 6 minutes to Kaladi brothers for coffee and a breakfast burrito or pastry :) Plus the location makes everything super driveable (less than 20 minutes to lots of great restaurants). This is a great home-base to explore around Anchorage!!! :)

We had a great stay at your sweet home. The cat as big as tour dog and that sweet dog!!!!! Not to mention the bed was amazingly perfect. My son and I had a great adventure in Alaska and newded nothimg more than a sweet quaint place to lay our heads. Looking forward to beinging the 2nd son soon. Thank you so much

We had a wonderful stay at Paul and Darlene's. Very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed! Beautiful home with quality furnishings and was very clean which we appreciated. Would stay again!

A very beautiful and peaceful stay with incredible views. The home was everything that was described and more, with so many small homey touches throughout. We even saw several orcas off the back deck on our second night, an absolute bucket list experience for me since I can't do boats. Sandra and Ron were very proactive in their communication to make our stay super seamless. Highly recommend, we can't wait to be back someday! FYI for curly girls like me, the hairdryer provided has a diffuser attachment. :)

Recommend! The apartment looked just like the pictures. Updated, clean & organized. Easy check-in, check-out instructions. Host was very responsive and accommodating with late check-out. Saving this location on my list for our next trip to Anchorage.

It was a real pleasure to spend time in this apartment, whose location is really pleasant. The apartment was overall clean, from the kitchen to the bathroom, including the bedrooms and living room. In particular, the bedsheets and towels were clean and spotless. The apartment was functional. WiFi, TV, washing machine and dryer were all functional - we did not test the dishwasher. The beds and sofa were comfortable. We really appreciated the little touches offered by the hosts, e.g., new sponge, new bottles of dish soap, hand soap, new shampoo and conditioner, make-up remover, toothbrush with toothpaste, cotton tips, menstrual kits. Board games and books were also provided, a real +++ when traveling with family or friends. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, attentive to any needs we might have. We highly recommend this apartment.

Great location making it the perfect place to stay for a quick work trip

Janna’s place is a lovely refuge downtown It’s close to restaurants and the train depot. There is a pretty view of the inlet, too. We wish it was free the other two occasions we will be passing through Anchorage because we definitely would have rebooked it!

We had a wonderful stay! Linnea was great with communication (definitely use google maps or the instructions she provides to find the house)! The place is absolutely beautiful and so restful, would definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. It is beautifully designed and decorated and the most pristine, well-stocked rental I've ever had. If you need something during your stay, it is there! And, there were so many thoughtful touches, we couldn't get over it! This experience absolutely felt like staying at the home of close friends. The hosts were very communicative and friendly, flexible when we had a special request, and gave us excellent local recommendations. Their apartment is worth the price because it is thoughtfully curated to suit your every need, and you're staying in a residential neighborhood that's five minutes to grocery, pharmacy, restaurants and more. We have already shared the listing with Anchorage friends as the perfect option for their future guests. Five stars all around, and we will be back! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Alyssa and Jimmers' place was perfect for our stay in Unalaska. Surrounded by beautiful mountains in the valley, it was a peaceful and serene setting. The apartment had a fantastic kitchen and bathroom, offering plenty of space for us. It was comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend it!

The location is great. It is a short drive to Homer Spit and walkable distance to many different places in town. We love the hot tub and the view.

Ellie’s place was amazing! Very responsive and was very kind in allowing a later than expected same day booking!! Truly a life saver. In addition the place had amazing resources for exploring the area, it was extremely clean, and the bedroom got super dark which is such a bonus in Anchorage! Thanks Ellie!

Perfect spot, relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub was amazing and relaxing. We were disappointed we weren’t able to have a fire in the evening but even so I would highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay at Carriage House! We felt surrounded by nature on a beautiful property, but a short walk across a nearby bridge got us into town within minutes!
