Relax and enjoy astounding glacier and mountain views from every window in Glacier View, Alaska. This is an authentic, spacious Alaskan log cabin built in 1973. The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. The Glacier View Log Cabin sleeps up to 6 and has TV, wifi, and woodstove heat. The cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen, so you can cook a nice meal. We also have a grill on the front porch incase you prefer to grill. Both 1st floor,and the loft have a queen size bed. A washer/dryer in the bathroom just in case you want to throw in that load of laundry. Whether you’re on vacation or just passing by for work, our cabin can accommodate you well.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Tucked away in a beautiful forest of birch and spruce, our Hytte offers a thoughtful space to rest and explore. The furnishings have been thoughtfully curated to be minimalist, warm and peaceful. Many items are vintage or made by us. We have purposefully chosen amenities that are low waste and environmentally conscious. As a welcome to our guests, we provide fresh eggs from our flock of chickens, homemade granola, milk, fresh fruit, coffee and tea!

Alaska-Real-Simple! This is the REAL Thing! A rustic Alaska Lakefront Cabin located in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula. Off the Grid, No Wifi, No electricity, well water, propane lights, wood stove for heat. You can't get more "Remote" without hiring a float plane, a water taxi, or walking for 2 hours! But we're just moments from the Seward Highway. Guests have access to the wood fired lakefront sauna and hot tub. Pet friendly.

Chum Cabin at Montana Creek & Suana

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
