Here there are good conditions for coziness and coziness for the whole family There are bathing possibilities from your own sandy beach and bathing jetty. Take a canoeing on the water or a short walk to Sjølingstad Ullvarefabrikk which is a living museum. The excursion possibilities are many. Deriblant Mandal (approx. 10 min drive) which is a cozy southern village with all its beautiful sandy beaches. If you want a trip to Kristiansand and Dyreparken, it is only 40 minutes away.

Mountain cabin in Trodla-Tysdal after 3 hours hike

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

Ønsker du en ferie på Sørlandet helt for deg selv i sommer er dette plassen. Det er ingen andre gjester på eiendommen. Boligen ved siden av hytten har ingen beboere ukene som er ledig. Hytten ligger nydelig til ved Nidelva 7km fra Arendal og 15km fra Grimstad. Nidelva har 3 utløp til sjøen hvor et renner ut ved Arendal sentrum og de to andre renner ut mot Torungen fyr. Det er lite bevegelse i elven om sommeren siden hytten ligger på havnivå.

Fantastic fjord and mountains views

A good place to just relax completely and enjoy the view of the beautiful fjord. Large windows facing the view make the feeling of sitting outside when you enjoy a good cup of coffee in the good chair. A short walk (200m) down to the harbor with a private boat berth and its own boathouse for storing equipment and freezing fish.
