Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Agder

The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

We had a very nice week in Terje's home. The house was nice and lived up to the description. We were 6 adults and 2 children, it worked really well, several had probably been a little cramped 😄 Terje gave really nice instructions, and it was easy to get in with the key box. The place was easy to find, if you just remember to read the fine instructions and not just follow google maps, because then you end up a little too far up. 😆 We had brief contact with Terje during the stay, due to problems with a bathroom, which was quick and nice response. Very nice place, super good as a base for motorcycle holidays as we used it for. We'd love to come again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin is just so perfect, location is amazing! It had everything we needed and more! The hot tub was amazing, we loved using it and watching the sunset. Kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you may need! Shop is just down the road. The hosts were so quick with responding to us to any questions we had. Would recommend to anyone!!! 🤩

Honestly one of the best airbnbs I’ve booked. Very cozy, well planned interior. The fireplace and sauna were a great add on. It’s a great airbnb if you’re planning for a cozy trip with close friends and family. We went as a group of 8 people and it was extremely comfortable for everyone. Marieke the host was also very accommodating and kind, always on stand by if anything was needed or if we had any questions. Definitely would recommend to others!

This is truly a great cabin with everything you could dream of! Definitely proper people who own this castle of a cabin, because here there were clever and great details everywhere, and very modern. There were 6 of us on a trip, and all the young people and adults and the 6 year old found their zones where they relaxed, enjoyed their holiday and were able to settle! We checked out the sauna by a small pond one of the days and it was really cozy. Only 10 minutes walk from the cabin. Otherwise, we had lots of Easter activities and cooked delicious food. The sun was also on our side, so we were outside grilled on the fire pit. Here we would love to come back! Thank you very much for us🤗

Very nice and modern cottage, there were a few things I think should be improved in the future. Essentials like toilet paper and hand soap were missing. It was a long weekend away and it was hard to buy these products. I think it's worth thinking about the lighting on the terrace by the jacuzzi, the lack of lighting made it harder to use the hot water and the grill when the sun went down :) generally very nice neighborhood, quick contact with the owner and a clean modern cottage :)

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful house in a very nice environment. There is still construction next door, but we were kindly warned, and it wasn’t too bothersome. Overall the hosts very accomodating to our special requests (we decided to rent the whole place instead just half once we arrived).

Great and cozy cabin, everything worked as it should. The double bed was very narrow for 2 people. Fun with touring in the living room. Short distance to the slalom slope and cross country tracks. Cozy hostess who allowed us to send check out since the first day had miserable weather and the second day brilliant sun and the opportunity for a day of skiing. Thanks for us, we'd love to be back.

There were three of us. The cottage is really suitable for 4 people. Everything neat and cozy. All the necessary is present (cheese slicer brought your own). We didn't know there was a freezer as well. The area is beautiful, especially for walking. We also visited fun (small) museums and swam in lakes. When the weather is nice, there is plenty to do and sit outside (terrace floor and canopy). But inside it was also very cozy.

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

We were on tembuilding and enjoyed two days, despite bad weather. The place is suitable for many, even if you have to be inside. Everything was tidy and ready when we arrived, and we have got quick answers to what we were wondering about ahead of time. Have already decided to come back

We had the most wonderful week with children, grandchildren and mother-in-law in this absolutely unique and for an architect's exciting house - an original Norwegian log cabin with super comfortable furniture, beds and well equipped with all kitchen equipment, firewood, games, TV and internet. The cabin was secluded a little by itself overlooking the beautiful Brokke mountain and over the cabin area, which we enjoyed from the porch around the fire pit, We could walk/stand skiing to the ski place, which also meets all our needs. We give the cabin, Bente and Tor-Olav our best recommendations and would like to come again - not least to also experience the place in the summer. Only downside was that we had to wear snow chains 500 meters before the cabin. We were not prepared for the driveway to be so steep. We later found that it is easier to drive a little further on the big road, and first drive into the cabin area from the driveway just across from Brokke-Alpincenter. In the cabin, there is gravel to spread out, but we only found out later. Thank you very much for the loan: -)

Very cozy and practical cabin! Short way to the city centre and good parking spaces. The cabin was conveniently built with a great kitchen with all the equipment.

Hi. My family and I had a fantastic lovely trip to Kjetil's cabin. Everything was perfect. Our kids enjoy themselves and our little dogs had a really good time there. Fantastic good beds and duvet , would like the same at home. There is nothing missing. We made friends over and they were also very impressed with the place. We had a wonderful stay at Øystein’s cozy cottage! Øystein was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to all our questions, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with beautiful nature views that made our time even more special. My family and I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely cabin located right by ski slopes and only a stone's throw from the slalom slope.. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather so the cover was closed, but went for walks and found other nice things. Good communication with the cabin owner and they responded very quickly. Would definitely recommend this place☺️

Well worth a visit if you're planning a trip to the Stavtjørn area. Very nice and service minded hosts. The place is great and has lots of room for guests. A good collection of table-top games and dvd's as well. Thanks for a great stay :)

Great stay in great cabin with great views. Good and fast communication with the landlord. Ski in/ski out is a big advantage of this cabin.

Wonderful holiday in Bortelid. Highly recommended if you want a quiet and peaceful break in superb surroundings.
