Stayed for a couple of nights to explore the Dales. Lovely, cute cottage with everything you’d need. Private garden was ideal for the dog to stretch his legs and some fantastic walks literally from the doorstep. Carole was always on hand for advice and local knowledge! Would definitely come back and stay again

What a beautiful place to stay, I wish we’d booked more than one night, we will definitely back, the little touches were lovely aswell, milk and Prosecco in the fridge and ice in the freezer, it was perfect. Thank you

Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

We had an amazing time in the Shepard's hut. The room was very well maintained and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the hammocks and making a fire in the evening and Dot was very communicative and made our stay very pleasurable.

A fantastic stay with Graeme & Gloria . The house and surroundings are so eco friendly. The chickens are very quiet and we loved having the use of tge garden. Top quality products were provided for breakfast and the presentation of the products was so nice. Attention to detail was exceptional and the book of recommendations was so helpful, including maps. Great Ousnourmevis a beautiful village. We ate at tge Lime Tree Inn and it was exceptional. Walking distance as well. We will definitely return and highly recommend. Fantastic hosts who work hard to make your stay perfect.

Had the most wonderful stay at The Old Cattle Barn last weekend! When we arrived Lauren was very welcoming and had left the Barn absolutely spotless for our arrival. Really lovely touches with the log burners for the fire, breakfast basket, robes & slippers etc. nothing was too much trouble for Lauren. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to visit the Peak District, great location for walks and a real cosy feel. Hope to return in the future!

We spent 6 fabulous nights at Sara’s place and had a great time. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything you’d need for a short break. We travelled fairly extensively over the days we were there, and left with lots still to do, which definitely means a return visit is on the cards The only regret was the weather didn’t allow us to make more use of the wonderful garden. Luckily we did manage one evening outside and it was wonderful!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin at Water Hall Farm. The cabins are beautiful and surprisingly spacious, fitting the four of us fine for 2 nights. The hot tub, which was prewarmed, was a relaxing addition and the views to the surrounding hills and Sutton Bank were stunning. We managed to have a BBQ and fires on the fire pit, for which we had plenty of logs. The place is very family friendly, with some goals and balls out on the field in front and lots of animals to see in the fields around. The kids loved it. We will likely be back!

We really loved our stay. The cabin was clean and tidy when we arrived. It had all the amenities we needed for the stay from the kettle, fridge and utensils all the way to the towel and body wash. Honestly you could come unprepared and it will be fine.

Lovely stay, great owners and great comms. Brilliant area and some good walks around, close enough to local towns. Overall 10/10

Lovely little place for our mini getaway. Set in gorgeous and private location, we even had the pleasure of seeing deer, rabbits, ducks and the farm dogs during our stay. The toilet was a little different than we are use to but did not impact our stay. Would recommend.

My wife and I stayed at Tilly lodge for our 'mini-moon'. What can I say, the lodge was incredible. Everything about our stay was of the highest quality. You can tell home much thought and consideration to guests is given by Sam. Lots of little touches to make our stay unique and memorable. We opted to include a luxury package which made our stay even more special. On arrival we had lovely decorations as well as prosecco and a freshly baked cake waiting for us. The hot tub was so relaxing and the beautiful countryside was so peaceful. We would highly recommend Tilly Lodge and look forward to returning!

Our weekend away here was perfect, the views were amazing and was very easy to find. It felt so private yet so safe. We loved using the hot tub and the log fire and it felt so cosy. Clitheroe was only a 20 minute drive and lots of sights to see no matter the weather. The host was a phone call away and was on hand for any queries. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place and outstanding scenery. Hosts very responsive and friendly. Everything was perfect and greatly exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be visiting again and I highly recommend this to anyone wanting the perfect break. Our dog loved it and the enclosed garden was perfect and large.

This is a gem of a place, if it is free then book it immediately! really well equipped space, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed with lovely thoughtful extras like miniature gin (!), dog equipment and a torch. Enclosed garden with amazing views, even better if you head up to the cairns! Perfect location for walks from the doorstep and great pub food easily drivable. Jo and Steve were absolutely brilliant. Can't recommend enough.

This was the perfect stop-off on our way up to the lakes, and was so lovely it felt like a mini holiday in itself! We felt right at home in the beautiful, relaxing annexe with the welcoming lounge, fully-equipped kitchen and very comfy bed. The breakfast was wonderful with home-made bread, and gluten free bread/granola to cater to my allergies. So kind - thank you so much!

We had a lovely 4 night stay at William & Chris' place.The instructions to find the place were clear & easy to follow & William came by once we'd settled in to say hi & gave some good advice about local walks & things to do in poor weather.The accommodation is beautifully situated, clean & plenty of amenities.The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of equipment & cooking utensils.There was a set of towels each & a washing machine to use if needed.There weren't any toiletries but we'd brought our own anyway.Very friendly chickens that appeared out of no where as soon as you opened the door!The only main issue we had was with the heat-due to the position of the large windows it trapped all the heat inside & we couldn't open the doors to let any air through due to the chickens & flies coming in,so it was a bit uncomfortable.There is a long narrow road & track up to the house, the last bit of which had quite a few large pot holes so care's needed when driving. Thank you for a fab break!

This was our first time using airbnb and they set the bar ihigh. We received a warm welcome. Every need was catered for from cotton buds to laundry. pods. A beautiful property and surroundings; the cottage was clean rhoughtout Lots to do in the area with nice cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend this place and the hosts. Thank you🙂

Our second time at the gorgeous Preston Mill Loft and it was just as wonderful as we remember. Super dog friendly, the upgraded hot tub is IMMENSE, comfy bed, welcoming hosts, beautiful scenery, well stocked kitchen. The lot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. They felt incredibly welcome and throughly enjoyed their stay, they’d definitely return! Thank you Sarah for providing such a lovely home for their stay!

I thought the pictures were nice when I booked but the place was beyond my expectations. It had everything you could wish for and looking out at the waterfall was just amazing. I have never seen anything quite as beautiful. The hosts were fab and were very welcoming and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

Bob kept in touch from when we made the booking and made our stay pleasant throughout. It was interesting to meet him, and he was happy to share his knowledge of the area. His place is clean, comfortable with beautiful views, spacious, and on top of that, a lovely loaf of homemade bread, fresh milk, and orange juice. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
