Shepherd's Hut in delightful rural setting yet within minutes of all that Oxford has to offer. The Perch Pub (where Morse regularly visited) is a five minute walk and serves excellent food. There is a Golf Driving Range five minutes in the other direction. Waitrose is a ten minute walk.
“The shepherd’s hut was absolutely fantastic! Small but stylish, it has everything you need, was really comfortable and very clean. It’s in the host’s garden but feels very secluded and private, and the location is ideal - close to Oxford but surrounded by beautiful countryside. We did some lovely walks and cycles and loved seeing the dog and the cat in the mornings. A brilliant experience, very highly recommended!”
Large, comfortable double room with hospitality tray, fridge, tv, free wifi. There is no en-suite but access to a designated private shower and toilet which have recently been completely refurbished. Within walking distance of the city centre and Jericho.
“Beautiful house in a fabulous location! Kathryn is a wonderful hostess, easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful. You can make tea in your room, and breakfast is also offered in the morning. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend!”
A large, comfortable and well appointed single room with hospitality tray, tv, free wifi and parking.
“Kathryn was a wonderful host! Her attention to all the little details ensured that my stay was not only memorable and comfortable, but also safe and sanitized, considering the current pandemic situation. Her house is a very beautiful, cosy and comfortable one, with a pretty garden in the back, conveniently located within a few minutes' walking distance of the city centre. Kathryn's hospitality was terrific as well. The room I was put up in was very comfortable, neatly set up with a convenient "pick-me-up tray" comprising a kettle, water and a coffee/tea station. She set up breakfast every single morning keeping in mind our preferences, which was definitely very thoughtful of her. I would highly recommend staying at her place if you are looking for accommodation while exploring/visiting Oxford.”
