We had a lovely stay at the cottage: everything was clean, comfortable and good quality. It’s in a super peaceful location, just birdsong and the occasional baa of the sheep neighbours! It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, just 30 mins from the coast and there are lots of beautiful villages on the moor. Highly recommended by us!

A truly beautiful location and a lovely cottage. We had a great week and wished we could have stayed longer. Jane was on hand with lots of local information and made us feel very much at home.

Wonderful place, as Bev says - the place gives you a warm hug. Relaxing, quiet, and perfect rest for us and our anxious rescue dog! Lovely being near the river, lots of birds and wildlife nearby. Felt right at home and hope to return again soon!

Would highly recommend to anyone! Pauline & Graham are lovely and helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. Their woodlands are a real treat, we were lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and we were free to have a picnic whenever we wanted to, an offer we gratefully accepted - we spent a lovely sunny afternoon reading and drinking tea there. Pauline & Graham are very passionate about the woodlands, their bees and the wildlife and told us about the owls, hedgehogs, foxes that occasionally visit their property. Their gentle dog Barney is a legend and loves to be pet.

Hi Cath Thank you for a lovely stay in your gorgeous barn. It was perfect for our needs and we had a really lovely time at Bramham. Our horse did well cross country - clear over a big course, but he had 3 show jumps down - not his forte!! I hope your grand-daughter got to see him. Really valued all the recommendations for eating out! Tried a couple which were excellent. would highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay over new year, cosy fireplace and friendly pubs within walking distance.

Would absolutely recommend Kathy's lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated and had everything provided that you could want. Fantastic location so close to Baslow and Chatsworth. Great to have a private drive and garden and we even got enough sun to sit out on the patio and have a bbq! Kathy was really helpful and prompt in replying when I had a couple of questions. Thank you for a fab stay.

An absolutely lovely place and not far from anywhere like Whitby bay Robin hoods bay were all within easy reach. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely restaurant down the road called the Grainary also lovely restaurant called the plough in Scalby which is a short drive away. The owners were so welcoming and so attentive. Very dog friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Whether we are there as a couple, or it is one man and his whippet :-) , Nicola's place always delivers. The dog friendly garden is a dream, walks close by and a simply beautiful part of the world. Nicola is always friendly and a great host. We are regulars and hope to continue to be! Thanks for another great stay. I had to pick Pinter (whippet) up to put him in the car as he didn't want to leave!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the manor farm cottage. What made our stay even more enjoyable was how prepared and informative they were in the guest guide book. We found this extremely helpful when trying to book taxis. Note to anyone planning a visit who is planning to use public transport to call malton taxis in good time instead of ‘Uber’ we were let down a few times by ‘Uber’ and it’s just that little too far out for many cars to be about. We went to malton ‘pizza on the square’ for tea one night which I would highly recommend and the ‘Rydale vineyard’ for a wine tasting experience which was fantastic and only a 7min taxi journey away. Perfect location great cottage and the amount of supplies that were provided too was another lovely touch. We diddnt have to worry about bringing tin foil and cling film, dishwasher tablets etc just small items which made the stay that extra bit more enjoyable. We managed t figure out how the appliances worked easily nd enjoyed a meal in aswel

We stayed here as a little family break with our dog. Everything was amazing! The place was spotless and stunning inside and the hot tub is great! We all really enjoyed our stay here including the dog 🥰 the hosts even left a little cheese board with a bottle of wine on arrival which was a lovely touch. We saw Cain outside and had a little chat and he was lovely, thank you again for a great stay ☺️

Such a lovely place to stay! The house was very cosy and beautifully done, and the area around it is stunning - really peaceful and scenic. The hosts were amazing too - so friendly and quick to reply if we needed anything. We would 100% come back!

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay this weekend. The house itself was spotless, clear instructions and a really helpful guide book for local restaurants and activities. The layout of the home was beautiful and had lots of necessities that we forgot to bring! Thanks again for a lovely stay and we will definitely be recommending to our friends and family.

Beautiful Cottage in a great location. All amenities you needed where catered for. Lovely decor and furnishings. A real home from home with nice touches like a small welcome pack and tea and coffee provided. We had a great time. Very relaxing and Clare the host is so helpful and friendly. We plan to return again

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. It was brilliant from start to finish host were fab always attentive and on call location was good as only round the corner there was loads of pubs and food places and only 25 mins to Blackpool really fab and would recommend to everyone
