House vacation rentals in Wine Country

What a fun trip! We so enjoyed this home in Clear Lake! We spent long days reading books, catching up, playing games, going to the pool, admiring the view and spending the evenings bbq'ing on the deck followed by admiring the crazy amount of stars above. Having grown up going to Clear Lake as a child I know what to expect of the area and I was impressed with Alex's home. Alex's home was as described, just the right amount of charm with modern updates that serve well (including the nicest towels and most comfortable bed i've had an AirBnB)! Before we left, we were already talking about coming back! Pro tip, with the big beautiful windows, close the blinds before going to bed. The front gets hot by the time you wake up! We thought leaving the doors open would cool down the house but learned the hard way!

What a lovely house! In particular we enjoyed the expansive and fully-fenced outdoor space with our doggos and kiddos - pictures don't really quite do it justice. The pool house worked as a separate nest for the teenagers, while adults used the two bedrooms in the main building. Location is pretty perfect, with just a 5min drive to Sonoma downtown and easy access to main roads. Our host was extremely communicative, and even helped return an item we forgot at the house promptly and without delay. Hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful experience having a small family reunion here. We had two older adults who use walkers and a baby, so I wanted to make sure that the house could accommodate all of us. Place was perfect for this with 3 bedrooms on the first floor, and only a couple steps to manage into the front door. Robin and other hosts were really helpful in answering all of my questions prior to the booking (and after). Loved the pool, hot tub and gazebo sitting area. Used the grill for family dinners. Will treasure our memories here!

10/10 I stayed here with my girlfriend and my dog and it was really peaceful and had a great time,the pool and jacuzzi was amazing and the house was really clean🙌🏽😄

Came back for a second stay, and was as wonderful and peaceful as we remembered it to be. The home is an incredible retreat - great views, and everything we needed for a relaxing two days away from the city. Appliances are top notch, and everything is thoughtfully laid out. Carolyn is a very thoughtful host, and quickly answered questions we had. Would recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we would love to be back again in the future!

Matthew’s home exceeded expectations and was incredibly cozy, private, spacious, clean, and spa-like. It was luxurious! It was very pet-friendly, I brought my Labrador with me and he loved lounging on the deck. The weather subsided (though I love the rain) all day Friday to allow for an entire day outdoors! The hot tub was clean and instructions were easy to follow. I loved that Matthew included local recommended spots to check out— I went to Russian River Brewing and Pacific Markets— both great spots with ample walking areas. The home decor is unique and has such character and charm without feeling like you’re stepping into “Magnolia Farms”— so far from it! There are beautiful works of art, antiques, classic and contemporary books; it’s lovely. Matthew is a responsive and kind, generous host. I found my stay tranquil and will be staying again as well as recommending to others! Matthew, thank you for providing a wonderful space for others to enjoy! All my best! Kaitlin & Buddy.

Great find in Sonoma! Well located with easy walks but in a peaceful neighborhood. Plenty of space for our four women on a girls’ trip!

This property is amazing in every way. There’s a view from the ocean from almost every room, beautiful tile work and gorgeous, well appointed bathrooms. A sauna and extra hot hot tub. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The house itself is beautiful with private spaces, but also a large living room where everyone can gather around a beautiful tiled potbelly fireplace. It’s a short walk to the beach through a charming neighborhood. The host Rebekah was very communicative and generous, allowed us flexible, check-in and check out. I will 100% be staying here again.

The River View House was wonderful! Very quiet and peaceful - great for the 7 guests we brought. The river was fun for a quick dip once in a while. The home was clean and spacious. Plenty of linens, towels, and kitchen dishes for us. Nancy was super responsive and helpful. We are planning to come back to the same rental again! We didn’t add on the studio, but likely will next time if we have more guests or more than 2 couples.

This home has the most beautiful views and the house is wonderful as well. The furnishings were cozy, clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic stay and wished we could stay longer. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Really enjoyed the location and the enclosed patio so we could sit outside and enjoy the ocean view keeping out of the wind. Lots of things to do in the area if you like hiking and exploring.

We truly enjoyed our stay at John’s place. The loft house is lovely and had everything we needed. The fireplace was a great bonus. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful—redwoods, ocean views, and a sky full of stars at night. We took the scenic Highway 128 route that John recommended from the Bay Area. We loved it so much that we took it again on the way back. John was kind and responsive. When there was a power outage during our stay, he came over promptly to start the generator for us. We’ll definitely book John’s place again the next time we visit Mendocino and Fort Bragg.

Megan’s place is a beautiful cottage surrounded by a vineyard with so much attention to details. There is a large bocce ball court with fruit trees around it, a good hot tub, and a genuinely warm space. Our family of 5 felt really comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We highly recommend!!

Beautiful, clean, spacious home right on the lake. Excellent outdoor patio and seating area with a well maintained private dock. Plenty of parking. We will be staying here again next year.

We had such a peaceful and restorative stay at this beautiful Mendocino loft. The space is just as described—open, airy, and designed with care. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the clawfoot tub made for some truly relaxing evenings. We really appreciated the small touches like robes, slippers, and the thoughtfully stocked kitchenette with tea, coffee, and snacks. The location is ideal—an easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurant, with lovely sunset views. It was the perfect spot to unwind.

Absolutely Stunning Stay! This stay was truly memorable. The views were unreal — panoramic ocean vistas and the most breathtaking sunsets right from the property. Every evening felt like a postcard moment. The space was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. What made the stay even better was the host — incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our visit. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We recommend this airbnb! I have been traveling pretty regularly for the past 12 years for my job... hotel after hotel. This time I decided to book my own lodging as my husband and baby were tagging along...and this airbnb could have been any more of a perfect match for what I was looking for! The views are beautiful as is the airbnb itself. Tons of windows and skylights create beautiful natural light. The interior has a beautiful wooden cabin feel. The choice of decor is nautical, very interesting provides the warmth of being at a familar home. There is Cooks Beach just a 3 minute drive (great coffee shop in that area) and the center of town is also a 3 minutes drive the opposite direction. Mike has included a variety of board games to be used. Internet was strong and we both had phone service the entire time (AT&T and Verizon). This property was so perfect that my husband and I began to discuss buying something similar down the road. 5 out of 5 stars! Thanks Mike!

We had the most amazing time at Carl’s stunning home. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures—spacious, perfectly designed, and filled with thoughtful details. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the layout of the home made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The amenities were incredible—from the sparkling pool and relaxing hot tub to the Nespresso machine that made our mornings extra special. Carl was a fantastic host. We communicated by email before the trip, and he provided us with wonderful vineyard recommendations that turned out to be highlights of our stay. On our way out, we had the pleasure of meeting Carl in person, and he was just as kind and welcoming as we expected. This was truly a special experience in a truly exceptional home. We can’t recommend it enough and are already dreaming about coming back!

A picturesque getaway! The property was so beautiful, the house was charming and laid out perfectly for multiple guests. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Sonoma. Highly recommend!

Jonathan's place is a dreamy cottage tucked away very close to the Van Damme state park with breathtaking views of the Van Damme beach. The house was very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The deck is a beautiful place to say hi to the birds and do your morning stretches. We actually saw the Milky Way from the front yard on a clear night! Jonathan was super responsive throughout the stay. We had a water emergency and Jonathan was able to dispatch help fast. True mark of an exceptional host is not only to make it a good place to stay but to act fast to resolve things in case of an issue. A peaceful, tidy, beautiful place to stay managed by a remarkable host.

Amanda's place is absolutely the place you want to stay in. My girlfriend and I stayed here for her birthday trip to Napa and it definitely worth the money and time spent here. Location is perfect for both privacy and closeness to numerous surround long towns with tons to do and just a short drive to both Napa and Sonoma county The house itself is beautiful, extremely clean and organized, fantastic views from any location inside the house. Bedrooms were super comfortable with luscious space Multiple bathrooms made it great for getting ready to go out and about Kitchen has everything you need The property was great private but doesn't feel desolate The pool was great the hot tub was so relaxing The detached game room made for some great fun at the end of the nights All in all amanads place was amazing and I would absolutely recommend to someone staying in the area If I return I will definitely be rebooking this listing Thank you again for the great hosting!
