Formally a secret famous recording studio for pop-rock bands, it was known as “The Hearst”. World famous records by the Killers were made here, “Hot fuss” and “Sawdust”. The first room, (now bedroom) was the control room with recording equipment and the second room (now tub room) was where the musicians played. Welcome pets for a fee if $35/per pet -per night.

Owned by a mother and son duo since 1989, the Inn has undergone a renovation that has brought it into the modern era. The bed is a very pricey plush Sealy King that makes for maximum deep sleep after enjoying a days worth of wine and food. We offer great accommodations for family and friends coming into town because we offer more space than your typical hotel room. All four suites, ranging between 1,200 to 1,500 square feet, accommodate up to six guests and feature three bedrooms with California King beds, three bathrooms, a spacious living room, dining area, a full-size gourmet kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer. Furnishings reflect our wine country location – modern sophistication accented with rustic details.

Trillium Cafe & Inn, Room #1

Room 1 has an ocean view from all windows, the bathroom is across the hall. Be sure to make dinner reservations before you arrive, as during our busy season and weekends we do book up for dinner each night. We DO NOT accept small children, as the space is not safe for little kids. The windows don't have screens, and the stairs are steep. We are also not handicapped accessible in our rooms, as they are upstairs. The restaurant is.

Cabin is approximately 320 sq. ft. The Highlands is an adult-only property.
