Experience true “slow living” in this highly popular 100-year-old cottage. Here, you can unwind by the fire and chop your own wood. Enjoy a homemade breakfast, a wood-fired sauna, and our new eco-friendly composting toilet. No running water inside, but there is a lovely sun-heated outdoor shower and a sitting bathtub. Cook on the wood stove or conveniently in the mini oven/microwave. Drink coffee by the stream, go kayaking in the pond, or look out for the northern lights. A magical place to just be.

In a beautiful agricultural environment overlooking fields and sea in all directions, the house on Dekarsön offers a peaceful and inspiring stay. Our farm is located on an island 9 km east of Örnsköldsvik, which forms the northern part of the High Coast. Directly adjacent to the house there is a nice garden, a large greenhouse and many patios, all overlooking the sea or meadows. 100 meters from the house, there is a nice secluded beach with cliffs and a jetty in the best evening sun position.

The accommodation is absolutely quiet and idyllic between the forest and the river Ammerån. There is a smart TV through which you can watch your series as usual (with Netflix or another streaming provider). The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a spacious shower room with a washing machine. 6 people can comfortably fit here.
