Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Vänern

The second time we stayed in Anja's cottage, a very soothing place. Simple and very cozy accommodation that suits us perfectly. Lovely to have breakfast next to Tidan.

This is a cottage with a modern feel but still warm and homey. Everything is very well-equipped – there are kitchen utensils, air conditioning, plenty of beds, a perfect lawn and a road that leads directly down to the lake. It was even better than we had expected! We really hope to have the opportunity to return to this beautiful accommodation in the future.

A beautiful and large house with complete furnishings and a large terrace. The house has many large windows with views over the vast lake and the other houses in the small-scale holiday park. Contact with the owner went well and quickly. We enjoyed the silence, tranquility and the singing birds. We took nice walks in the area. Supermarkets and shops are easily accessible 15km away. We would love to come back here if we go back to Sweden.

Very nice house and location. The walk-through room was not so convenient for our group (6 friends), but if you go with 1 or 2 families that is fine.

We really enjoyed the communication with the hosts, for the house, for the facilities, for Tived National Park, for the instruction book in the house and for the entire stay. It can easily be we'll be back. We had a little trouble with our car and some neighbors were also very helpful. It was just really good everything.

Wonderful stay at Andreas and Corina Cabin! They were pretty quick to answer to our question and ready even though we had last minute order. The place is calm and marvelous I really recommend!

My husband and I had a great time at Sandbacken and we loved meeting Bernhard and Wioleta! They are very kind and welcoming. We went on the Moose Safari with Bernhard and we spotted multiple moose, deer, foxes and even an red deer. We were so lucky!

Very happy that we stayed at Nicole's place. It's relaxing and feel like home. All the best to you!

We had a very nice stay at Helen's place. Helen is a very friendly and warm-hearted woman who was always approachable and took care of. The apartment is in a very nice large house with a well-kept garden. From the large terrace, you have a great view of a field, where you can also see deer and sometimes even moose. The apartment has everything you need for a few days. The location is quiet and good to explore Hunnebostrand, Smögen, Bohus Malmön, etc. (Everything maximum about 15 minutes away by car). I recommend it!

Markus and Esther is extremely friendly, greeted us when we got to their place. Their place is lovely and clean and right next to the woods with a lake, great for walking.

The accommodation is centrally located but still very quiet. Absolutely recommended.

Very nice accommodation that is very easy to get to. The accommodation had everything you were looking for! I really think everyone should try the accommodation sometime in their life :) Can guarantee that you will be more than satisfied!

Great place! The converted barn is charming. Surrounded by farmland. Worked well for us, but steep stairs with low ceiling and the loft ladder could be hard for some older folks or with mobility issues. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic two weeks and were very welcome by Léon and Karin. We have loved the tranquility and space at the beautiful lake. The villa is very fully equipped, with all the comforts. We felt at home. Every evening we had the wood stove on and in the fire pit on the mountain we had winter- bbq. Sausages on the fire and mashmallows, and then enjoy the immense silence, wow! We fished and we were allowed to use the sled to sled from the mountain and toys were also ready. The kids were fantastic. The walks in the folder were also nice to do. So many nice things to see in the area. Gränna, Eksjo and more. In the night visit of deer and at Christmas visit from Santa Claus! So nice! Winter wonderland. We are fully equipped and actually didn't want to go home anymore. A fabulous Christmas and New Year's Eve. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful cottage with good parking space - a cottage equipped with every comfort: fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom (good shower), great bedroom, good sitting area with nice sofas and directly located on the lake. From the cottage, there is also a super beautiful panorama over the lake. Outside several places to sit in front of/next to/behind the cottage: ideal👍🏻. The area: we have, among other things, made a forest walk to 'Bråten', a nice circular walk with a touch of culture. We also used Sara's canoe and went over the lake: recommended to do🙃! The local pub has delicious burgers and super delicious fries: definitely do it! The host Sara: super friendly and easily accessible. Sara sent us all the necessary information about the access etc. in advance. Nice to have seen and talked to Sara and the family too! Thank you for a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage and who knows we will come back😃!!!

We had a very great stay, the host lent us the canoe for the day. We paddled along the lake it is so peaceful. On the night the host gave us some wood to make a barbeque, there was no many mosquitos, it was so nice. I really recommand this place, it's completly worth it ! ;)

New and nice little cabin with parking and private patio. Easy to check in and out on your own. Recommended!

Cozy house surrounded by nature, with such a peaceful lake view. We were able to canoe, swim from a floating barge on the lake, walk in the forest. Pâr and Peggy are adorable and give good directions for visits. Perfect if you want to take a nature break: )

A really nice place to visit , on the first day after a few hours we were greeted by the husband who fixed a broken tap in the sink, helped us with getting the fireplace and firepit outside going and even gave us some hiking tips and other places to visit! very helpful and nice hosts, a beautiful place to visit if you ever want to get away from the city, would recommend to anyone who likes to be next to the water.

We had a wonderful time in the cozy cabin with lake view, perfect for a relaxing break. The decor is modern, very cozy and lovingly thought out. Everything was clean and high quality. A crib and high chair were available. There was a nice surprise in the fridge as a welcome and Amanda brought fresh eggs from her chickens. Outside, a great seating area with barbecue invites you to linger, overlooking the lake, grazing cows and sheep. We have taken a special liking to the sheep and will miss them very much! In the area you can go for a wonderful walk, collect wild herbs or simply enjoy the tranquility. A small swimming area is just a few steps away. Another highlight was the beautiful wooden sauna right on the lake about 5 minutes' walk away, which we were allowed to use at any time. Amanda and Michael are incredibly warm and helpful hosts. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back! 🤍
