Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vänern

There were two of us in Ingrid's house and we enjoyed the time there! There is a wood-fired sauna and a cozy fireplace. The surroundings are quiet and lush green in summer, with grazing animals in front of you. The street in front of the house is not very busy and did not bother us much. In the kitchen we found all the utensils we needed and the bathroom is modern. We would book the house again, Ingrid is a great host.

If you're looking for peace in a beautiful property, you've come to the right place. A real joy. Askersund is a few miles away. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket. We only stayed one night during our road trip, but we had time to enjoy the accommodation. The double bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is large with a view of the woods. If you want to cook, the kitchen is very functional and suitable for cooking meals. Feel free to book.

Kinnekulle is a flowering mountain, filled with orchids, wild garlic and lilacs in all colors. It's so beautiful. With Rosalies accommodation, you live close to all the beautiful trails and get around easily. The accommodation is thus very "central" but still strangely secluded and quiet. And the house is wonderful and very tastefully decorated. We will be back :)

Overall, this was a peaceful location, beautiful home, nice location to swim in lake or chill outside but the water. Host is fast at communicating and kind. I recommend bring your own towels and toiletries as they may not be available.

We were a group of 10 friends from different countries and came for a long weekend together. We had a great time at Annika and Jonas’ place. Their house is beautiful and well arranged, modern but still with the vibes from its history. The house and its surroundings have many amenities (hot tub, sauna, kayaks, …) and it was great to be so close to the water and nature. It’s also easy to do groceries in the nearby town. Going by public transportation may be possible but a car would be recommended. I can only highly recommend this house for a group of friends or with a family. We loved it!!

Really a home and a view that immediately creates a lot of enthusiasm. The space, the tranquility, beautiful house and really beautiful views, make it an ideal vacation spot! In addition, if you love nature, you will be fully satisfied. Nice to be able to use the canoes! It was a top week at a top location.

The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. Anna and Martin are a wonderful couple who have created a beautiful apartment filled with charming details. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The surrounding area and the nearby town are lovely, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing trip. This is a really excellent place. The apartment was really nice, clean, and cosy. The host had made excellent descriptions, and they were really nice. The surroundings were also really nice and quiet. There were many places to walk, a lot of nature. There are only positive things to say about this place :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful Airbnb flat in Länghem and it exceeded all my expectations! The flat was impeccably clean and thoughtfully furnished, blending modern Scandinavian aesthetics with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. The apartment is amazing, personally and genuinely decorated, like being at Grandma's house! The beds were very comfortable and the heat indoors was perfect during the slightly chilly May week we stayed. Surprisingly, there is a lot of history in the local area, and Järle is Sweden's smallest "city." There were many nice day trips to do and of all the nature reserves, I would say Kindla is the most spectacular.

Everything was great, Marie and her husband were so nice and the place was to die for!

Can't recommend this place enough! It really felt like you were a guest at someone's home you knew, so homey it was. Just about all the amenities you could imagine were there, and the level of service was beyond all our expectations. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house, large and spacious, a little out of town but not too much, very quiet. The host was very helpful, as soon as a problem arose he moved immediately and solved it quickly.

Comfortable house with relatively undisturbed location, despite neighbors next door. Felt private and reasonably secluded. Lovely view of Lake Vänern and large plot. Very windy straight into the property from the lake. Certainly refreshing and nice in the middle of the summer, but now in May it was sometimes too cold, despite wind protection and several patios. Nice that bed linens and towels were available and great that a boat with outboard motor was included. Large plot with space for car with trailer. Clear, detailed instructions, house rules and information, but only in English. Nice host and helpful who responded quickly and even preceded us with info. We are very pleased and can imagine coming back

This was our fourth stay at the lake house and it was wonderful as always. We just love the quiet, the nature and the wonderful location of this beautiful house. Anneli and Stig are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time and hopefully will be back!

A unique and cozy place to stay! There aren't many places where you can get off the train and almost immediately be at the door – but here it's possible. The accommodation offers plenty of space for four people and is located in a quiet area. During the summer when we stayed here, there were many activities to try and places to explore nearby. Host was very helpful and responded quickly to our queries.

We were 6 adults and 4 kids and everyone was super happy!!! Everyone loved the pool, the kids didn't want to leave the house, they wanted to swim all the time. Folding ping pong table was used frequently. There were many board games. The views are amazing. Great patios. A top apartment to rent with a host who was very easy to get in touch with if a question arose. Highly recommended.

We felt super comfortable. The house is very well located, not far to the nearest shopping or to Glaskogen National Park and other beautiful hikes. It is very nice and tasteful Everything you need is available and the beds are good. It's very clean. Stefan is a very good host. We can recommend this property 100%.

We were allowed to enjoy 1 week in a fantastic spacious house with a huge terrace and breathtaking views of the Glafsfjorden. As a bonus, the easy-to-use Jacuzzi with 36-38 degrees of warm water. Elisabeth is really an extremely nice and friendly host! The area is surrounded by huge forest areas, with many mushrooms. We were also lucky with the weather, almost only sunshine and beautiful sunsets😃 We look forward to seeing you again!

I felt very comfortable at the place and could relax a lot! In the beautiful forest in front of the door you can easily find mushrooms for several meals! Only the reference to the "Scandinavian outdoor toilet" could have been a little more noticeable or visible in the pictures.
